Let Go, Let God
I let go of struggle, and let God be my inspiration.

When I say “I let go and let God,” what am I releasing, and what am I allowing? I let go of condemnation and allow the unconditional love of God. I release darkness and sorrow and embrace the light and joy of God. I let go of struggle, lack, and limitation and let in the peace, substance, and power of God.

In my time of prayer and meditation, I become as a child listening to a loving parent. I cease telling God what I know and seek only to know God’s presence. I let go of limited understanding and let God within me bring spiritual understanding. As I let go of earthly troubles, my burdens lift and I rejoice in the kingdom of God within me.
Let the little children come to me, and do not stop them; for it is to such as these that the kingdom of God belongs.—Luke 18:16

Forgiveness
I believe in the power of forgiveness.

To believe fully and completely in the forgiving love of God is to know peace and freedom. The moment I turn within to God in prayer, with humility and acceptance, I am freed from past mistakes. God’s forgiving love instantly dissolves bitterness, resentment, and condemnation.

I may have acted or spoken in a way I am ashamed of. I may wish I could retrace my steps and start over again. But it is through living that we learn and grow. My missteps help me see how I want to change and who I want to be.

No matter what I have done or what circumstances influenced me, I can start anew, make amends, and accept God’s forgiveness. I embrace a new vision of life, and I am free now to express it.
There is forgiveness with you.—Psalm 130:4

Attraction
I attract my highest good!

When embroiled in an unhappy circumstance, I don’t give up or give in. I am not a hapless, limited being. I have the power to change the direction of my life. I have a conquering spirit that can neither be daunted nor defeated!

My valiant spirit is an attracting agent for good, magnetically drawing to me enriching experiences. The power of attraction is always at work. If I have previously allowed misperceptions about faults or flaws to define me, I release these thoughts now. Through the power of my life-affirming words, I attract greater good to me and through me. Summoning the power of attraction, I assertively draw into existence the good I deserve.

Guidance
Spirit leads me, guides me, and walks beside me.
Today I carry these words with me as a prayer for guidance. From the hymn “I Am a Child of God,” by Naomi W. Randall: “Lead me, guide me, walk beside me, help me find the way.”

I know the spirit of God is with me, and I watch as the path ahead unfolds—one step, one insight, one turn at a time. Knowing I am never alone in my decisions, I feel adventurous and confident.

What dreams are mine to fulfill? How can I contribute to the greater good? Divinely directed and inspired, I dust off aspirations I might have previously laid aside and ask Spirit to lead and guide me to fulfillment. In every endeavor, I call on the spirit of God to help me find the way.
This is God, our God forever and ever. He will be our guide forever.—Psalm 48:14

Inner Peace
Peace beckons from within.

Many of us have found ourselves at some point in our lives asking for a sign—a sign to let us know we will make it through a trying situation, that everything will be okay; a sign to put our troubled hearts and minds at ease. Yet we know peace doesn’t come from outside of us—peace emanates from within.

As we engage in prayer and silent meditation, we untangle tightly knotted worries. We release the practice of reliving a past we cannot change or worrying about a future that may never happen.

Peace beckons us from within. As we respond to the call of peace, we relax into an experience of inner stillness, one which no outer sign can provide and no outer circumstance can take away.

Peace be to you; do not fear.—Judges 6:23

Pathways
My heart leads me to my right path.

I will travel many pathways during my lifetime. Some may take me only a short distance; others I will travel for years. On my journey, I will have countless opportunities to choose one path over another. Poet Robert Frost wrote: “Two roads diverged in a yellow wood. … I took the one less traveled by, and that has made all the difference.”

The path I choose does make a difference, so I consider it carefully. While I may listen to the advice of friends, loved ones, or leaders, my truest sense of direction comes from within. At the core of my being is a well of divine wisdom and divine inspiration. Before making a choice, I listen to my heart. God in me leads me to right choices on my unfolding journey.
The Lord will keep your going out and your coming in from this time on and forevermore.—Psalm 121:8

Let Go, Let God

I trust the wisdom of God to lead me in right ways.

Stewing over a challenging situation can cause me unnecessary worry and concern. I may fill my mind with worst-case scenarios and “what ifs” until I wear myself out. Overthinking a problem can often expend more energy than simply letting go and trusting God.

Instead of forcing solutions, I turn to God within. Taking a deep breath, I relax my mind and body. I say a simple “Thank You.” I give thanks that there is a higher power at work in my life, guiding me in right ways, and helping me achieve my goals. I give thanks that I am a partner with God in every experience. I relax, let go, and trust Divine Wisdom to bless and guide me.
Do not worry about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.—Philippians 4:6

Guidance

The gentle presence of Spirit guides and directs me.

In times of turmoil, I may ask myself, What am I going to do? or Why did I make that decision? I can either wrestle with these questions, becoming bogged down in worry and blame, or I can turn within and allow Spirit to guide me.

In quiet moments of prayer, I open my heart and mind to receiving direction from Spirit within. As I relax in silent contemplation, I am receptive to subtle suggestions from Divine Wisdom. When I listen with an open heart, even something as simple as an overheard remark or a line from a song on the radio may provide an answer.

The gentle presence of Spirit guides and directs me. I know what to do, and I proceed with confidence.

Let Go, Let God
I am free as I let go and let God.
I accept this day as a gift as I walk with God through every moment, activity, challenge, and opportunity. My affirmation is from “The Prayer of Faith”: God is my help in every need.

Remembering God in all I do, I am free from the burden of worry or fear. I let go of concern as I focus on the all-powerful, all-knowing presence that guides my way. I am free to express my innate talent, free to act from a foundation of wisdom, strength, and faith. I am free as I let go and let God.

At the close of this day, I rest peacefully, my mind unencumbered. I am immersed in divine love. Help is always here when I relax, release my personal striving, and open myself to God.
Come to me, all you that are weary and are carrying heavy burdens, and I will give you rest.–Matthew 11:28

Balance
As I rest in God, I replenish my soul.
If I am hurrying and worrying about completing everything on my to-do list, slowing my pace may seem counterintuitive—yet slowing my pace calms me and brings me back to center.

I pause from all that is calling for my attention and create a holy space within. As I move more consciously and breathe more deeply, I refuel my energy and replenish my soul—I rest in God.

Just as the space between musical notes creates balance and harmony, so, too, does a moment of peace bring harmony to my soul. I rejoice in the right balance between doing and being. When I am ready to return to my tasks, I fulfill my obligations with efficiency and enthusiasm.
The Lord is good … he protects those who take refuge in him, even in a rushing flood.—Nahum 1:7

Journey - I am fulfilled on my life’s journey.
When I am at a crossroads, what do I do? Do I take the familiar path or the one less traveled?

Whichever path I choose, I make a commitment to enjoy the journey. All paths lead me to, and through, new adventures.

Even when I am not making major life decisions, I enjoy my daily path. Whether I am going to work, to church, or to school, whether I am on vacation or performing a routine task, I remind myself to enjoy all life has to offer. I look around and see the good that abounds. As I do, I experience new joys I might otherwise have missed.

With each new day, I experience fulfillment on my life’s journey.

Open Mind: With an open mind, I stretch to new dimensions of awareness.

Oliver Wendell Holmes said that a mind, once stretched, never regains its original dimensions. I allow my mind to be stretched as I think of all that God is. My open mind lets in the light of God to illuminate my perceptions and beliefs. I practice spiritual discernment, as I become aware that there is more to life than meets the eye. I see God in action—in a sunrise, in the face of a child, in my life’s work, and in all my activities. I see God in me in new ways. I am more forgiving and less judgmental. I am more accepting of others. I develop greater understanding by seeing from many perspectives. With an open mind, I stretch to new dimensions of spiritual awareness.

If any of you is lacking in wisdom, ask God, who gives to all generously and ungrudgingly, and it will be given you.—James 1:5
