Prosperity

My world is filled with divine abundance and unlimited potential.

The keys to the kingdom are available to us all. These are not hollow words; they are truth. Life is meant to be lived abundantly. Rather than focusing on lack, I acknowledge the ways in which I am blessed.

My relationships, my body, my bank account--all are healthy and strong. With each breath, I take in the richness of life, the richness of Spirit. My chest swells with love, my heart fills with gratitude and I see God's blessings. This is my spiritual inheritance. Abiding in God's love, I experience the kingdom--the sufficiency of all things and the abundance of every good.

Then you shall see and be radiant; your heart shall thrill and rejoice, because the abundance of the sea shall be brought to you. --Isaiah 60:5

Change

I envision and prepare for new beginnings.

As winter makes its arrival, I notice changes on display in nature--leaves gone from the trees, birds flying south and the temperature turning cold. As we leave one season of our lives and transition to another, we may feel a sense of loss. Yet just as the trees use winter to prepare internally for eventual springtime, I know that a quiet time of reflection allows me to envision and prepare for new beginnings in my life.

I cannot hold on to the life that was, but I can fully live the life that is, right now. By embracing the present moment, I find peace in the midst of change. I find hope remembering that in due time, in the right season, my own spring--my rebirth--will burst forth.

For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven. --Ecclesiastes 3:1

Happy Heart

My heart is happy.

I start this day by filling my mind with constructive and optimistic thoughts. As a result, I start this day with a happy disposition, a happy heart.

I remember these words from Scripture: "Whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is pleasing, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence and if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things." As I do this, I leave no room in my mind or heart for unhappy thoughts or feelings.

As I start my day with a happy heart, my outlook is brighter, my walk is lighter, and my voice is sweeter. Love lights the way before me. My happy heart releases all tension, and I am at ease and at peace in mind and body.

Happy are those who trust in the Lord.--Proverbs 16:20

Respect

I have respect for myself and the people in my life.

Sometimes I find myself focusing on imperfections in myself or in others, particularly if I am feeling unsure of myself or drawn into a disagreement. This kind of judgment is simply a lower level of consciousness, but I can choose to rise to a spiritual perspective.

Taking a higher view immediately changes my attitude and emotions. I carry myself with dignity and grace. Respecting my divine nature and that of other people, I connect in a new way. I stand erect and communicate with confidence and ease. Finding common ground with others becomes second nature to me. With each exchange, I demonstrate respect in all I think, say and do.

No good thing does the Lord withhold from those who walk uprightly. --Psalm 84:11

Free

Divine power emanates from within me. I am free.

To experience freedom, I must move beyond the limits of my thoughts and beliefs. If I feel held back by circumstances or boundaries, I am denying my full potential.

I go within to the core of my being, where I connect with Spirit at the heart level. In the safety of this oneness, I release all fear. I accept the truth of who I am, and I recognize the power that emanates from within me.

The power of God is the key to unlimited good. It opens the door to new ways of thinking; it provides the strength to take a courageous stand. In awareness of my oneness with God, I am free to explore the outer limits of my comfort zone. I am free to grow and to experience the fullness of whatever path I choose.

As servants of God, live as free people.--1 Peter 2:16

Inspiration

The spirit of God breathes into me the breath of divine inspiration.

Divine inspiration makes my life an interesting, joyous experience. I fulfill my creative desires and live life abundantly when I let the breath of divine inspiration enter mind, soul and body.

The world is a creative place, an out-picturing of the creation of God. Whenever I am in tune with God, the things I do, the words I speak, the thoughts I think are creative, living and vital. I am led to find healing for my body. I am guided to let go of bad habits and form good ones.

Divine inspiration blesses me with spiritual growth. By opening my mind and heart to God, I go forward spiritually into new understanding, into a deeper realization of God's world.

The breath of the Almighty gives me life.--Job 33:4

Flexibility

I participate in the flow of life with flexibility and trust.

How often do I struggle with a problem and try to force a desired outcome? This urge may be natural, but not always beneficial. Letting go and letting God, I can remain flexible. Relinquishing the inclination to control other people or situations. I trust in divine solutions.

Flexibility allows me to move in the flow of life. I choose not to judge experiences as "good" or "bad." Instead I remain optimistic and attuned to God, which gives me a quality of resilience. I adapt to and learn from unexpected events and even find spontaneous blessings in daily life. With greater flexibility and trust in God, I flourish in new and profound ways.

Trust in him at all times, O people; pour out your heart before him.--Psalm 62:8

Joy

I choose joy.

The greatest joy of an abundant life may simply be the ability to choose my responses and co-create a life of fullness regardless of any outward appearance. In the midst of any circumstance, I can choose to be happy and joyful even as I respond to the needs of the moment.

I choose to rejoice in the fullness of God's good in my life, giving thanks for a world of plenty. Looking beyond seeming lack and limitation, I recognize the spiritual abundance that is present.

I choose to express generosity and gratitude toward others, and life becomes more precious and abundant. I choose the joy of living in the fullness of God's good right now.

You show me the path of life. In your presence there is fullness of joy.--Psalm 16:11

Discernment

I discern what is mine to do.

Decisions come easily in some situations, but seem harder in others. If I find myself becoming overwhelmed in considering all the factors, I step back, remembering that I need never make a decision alone; the spirit of God is with me. Logic is helpful, but inner guidance leads the way.

There is a special sense of "rightness" in a solution that makes nobody wrong. Perhaps I am guided to make amends with another person or forgive someone. I let go of the mind chatter of worry and doubt to remember that God is with me. When I follow the urgings of Spirit, I am led to act in the most loving and productive way. I discern God's will for me and know what is mine to do.

So let us not grow weary in doing what is right, for we will reap at harvest time, if we do not give up.--Galatians 6:9

Creativity

Day by day I create a life of joy.

Like a master chef, I begin each day with an empty bowl. Whatever the "special of the day" turns out to be, I get to create it.

With God as my Source, I have everything I need. I reach for wisdom and compassion; imagination and zeal; strength and love; peace and change. I choose the ingredients of my day thoughtfully and prayerfully, co-creating with God. I add and take away in perfect measure, manifesting a life of joy day by day.

From morning to night my bowl fills. At the end of the day, I reflect on what I have created. I give thanks for the divine creativity flowing through me. I release what needs to be released and rest until tomorrow, when I will begin again with a fresh, new bowl.

Show by your good life that your works are done with gentleness born of wisdom.--James 3:13

Prosperity

Divine substance overflows into my life.

Prosperity means many things to many people. To some, prosperity means employment, to others a home, to others more money in the bank. These all signify prosperity, but prosperity is more than outer manifestations. Prosperity is the inner, underlying substance of God that permeates and penetrates all, the substance out of which all things are formed.

Material good is but evidence of the all-providing substance of God. Outer conditions come and go; they fluctuate and change, but the substance of God is enduring and unchanging. It can be depended on at all times, in all circumstances.

I am not anxious about my life, because my good is centered in God and I know my needs will be met.

All these things will be given to you.--Matthew 6:33

Free

I let go of the need to be in control, and I am free.

Believing that I must control the situation at hand may leave me feeling tense and burdened. Prayer helps me release these overwhelming feelings.

In prayer I remember that there is only God, and God is in control. I shift my thoughts to the good and release control. This is not my burden to carry. I am not in charge of other people or situations. I am not in control of another's life or behavior. I thank God for restoring me to peace.

As my thoughts quiet, my concerns dissipate. I gratefully affirm that with God all things are possible. I let go of the need to be in control, and I am free.

Out of my distress I called on the Lord; the Lord answered me and set me in a broad place.--Psalm 118:5

Inner Peace

With each breath I breathe, I am aware of God's peaceful presence.

To enter into a time of meditation, I relax my body and take a few deep breaths. I become aware of God's peaceful presence. The rhythm of my breath becomes steady and even.

Breathing in, I envision my soul filling with the spirit of God. Breathing out, I release any anxiety or dissatisfaction. Thoughts of peace, images of peace, give way to a deep serenity that expands into every cell and organ of my body. I rest in the silence.

When I return my attention to the activities of the day, the peace I feel within reflects in every word I speak and every action I take. Nothing can disrupt the serenity I carry within me, for each breath I breathe is filled with God's peaceful spirit.

He breathed on them and said to them, "Receive the Holy Spirit."--John 20:22

Satisfaction

God fulfills my heart's desire. I am well satisfied.

William Shakespeare said, "He is well paid that is well satisfied." What brings me satisfaction? A good meal? A job well done? Acknowledgment from my employer? All of these are wonderful, but they may not leave me feeling "well paid."

In order to be satisfied with anything, I must first be satisfied with myself. I achieve that satisfaction by remembering that I am a child of God. I give thanks that God supplies my every need, fills my heart and mind with a sense of well-being, and enfolds me continually in goodness and light. In this awareness, I am truly well satisfied and well paid.

With appreciation, I acknowledge God as the Source of all things good.

My God will fully satisfy every need of yours according to his riches.--Philippians 4:19

Clarity

With clarity, I claim my highest good.

Sometimes I make decisions in a split second. Other times, I need more time to find an answer. How can I know my choices are for my highest good? First, I ask Spirit, "What is mine to do?" When Spirit answers, I listen.

The answer may come as an insight or a feeling--like the urge to contact an old friend or pass up a job that doesn't feel right. Sometimes, guidance comes as a word or phrase in meditation. Or it may come through the words of a child, a friend or a stranger.

By paying attention to Spirit's messages, I gain clarity about my decisions. I know what is right because it feels right. With confidence, I go boldly forward.

The blind received their sight ... the deaf hear, the dead are raised, and the poor have good news brought to them.--Matthew 11:5

New Ideas

I am attuned to the wisdom of God and blessed with new ideas.

Anew idea may present itself at the oddest moment. When I am driving or grocery shopping or taking a walk, a new idea may simply come to me. It is an "aha" moment, a blessing.

Ideas are the activity of God working in and through me, guiding my thoughts and inspiring me to right action. I may not always recognize the ideas that come to me. Sometimes they are fleeting. However, I can make a conscious effort to be open and receptive to them whenever they appear.

As I move through my day with an expectant attitude and a peaceful heart, I am an open channel for the wisdom of God. I look forward to wisdom's expression each day.

If any of you is lacking in wisdom, ask God, who gives to all generously and ungrudgingly, and it will be given you.--James 1:5

Zeal

I enthusiastically accept my good and go forward to achieve my purpose.

My good comes to me in ways too numerous to count. Opportunities abound as I keep my mind, heart and vision focused on God. With each opportunity comes the chance to do something meaningful, to be of service to others or to follow through on a divine idea.

As I pursue the desires of my heart, all I need is provided. I have the energy, the will and the clarity to accomplish that which is calling me. I move forward in faith, and let God do through me all that is mine to do. With God as my guide, I am joy-filled, enthusiastic and excited about my life.

I know that all things are possible for one who believes, and with God, I contribute in positive and powerful ways.

Do not lag in zeal, be ardent in spirit, serve the Lord.--Romans 12:11

Prosperity

I rejoice in the full expression of God's good in my life.

My work is one expression of my prosperity. Into my work I put the joy of God, and from my work I receive joy. Whatever I am doing, I am happy in it. My work is not difficult when I approach it in the same spirit as I approach my time off. When I see it in the right light, it becomes something that has my all-absorbing interest. I grow happier in my work day by day by beholding it as a blessing.

I carry the joy of God into whatever I do. My work life responds to my mental attitude and in turn compensates me with joy and prosperity. I am well paid for my effort.

With joy and thanks, I see my position grow as I grow.

You shall eat there in the presence of the Lord your God ... rejoicing in all the undertakings in which the Lord your God has blessed you.--Deuteronomy 12:7

Pray for Others

I pray with the assurance that God is my help in every need.

Praying helps me be a calm, positive and supportive presence for others. Prayer channels my thoughts in affirmative ways. It is the highest form of help I can give to a friend or loved one. As I pray for others, I affirm their highest good, trusting answers will come in right and perfect ways.

When praying for healing, I visualize wellness, vibrancy and wholeness. In my heart I know the activity of Spirit is at work. When I pray for guidance, I wholeheartedly believe that God within each person is their true compass. Their path will be revealed.

I pray with assurance. God is our help in every need no matter how great or small. With God, all things are possible.

Beloved, I pray that all may go well with you and that you may be in good health, just as it is well with your soul.--3 John 1:2

Bold in Spirit

I am bold in spirit. I speak and act from Spirit within.

Just as surely as Spirit guides me, so, too, does Spirit prepare and empower me to accomplish every good I have been guided to seek. As I listen in the silence of my soul, I open to receive wisdom and understanding.

Any tendency to be timid about carrying through on divine understanding vanishes. I am bold in spirit. I feel at ease in making decisions, and I am open to better ways and means of doing my best--for myself and for others.

Being bold in spirit does not mean that I force or coerce others to believe or act as I do. Understanding and compassion, patience and cooperation flow from Spirit in all I think, say and do. I do my best, and I help to bring out the best in others.

Since, then, we have such a hope, we act with great boldness.--2 Corinthians 3:12

Prosperity

Spirit supplies my every good.

Standing under a tree on a windy fall day, watching the leaves fall down around me, I experience the richness of God's bounty. I know that money does not grow on trees, but those leaves symbolize the good that is available to me. Spirit continually showers me with blessings in a variety of forms--a friendly smile, a phone call from a loved one, or an awareness of total well-being.

Spirit is the source of my every good. As I pray and meditate on the good in my life, I become conscious of the ways in which I am blessed. Spirit is the fulfillment of every need. I have only to center myself in Spirit, my infinite Source, and notice the goodness showering down around me.

See if I will not open the windows of heaven for you and pour down for you an overflowing blessing.--Malachi 3:10

Proceed

I live in the eternal now of Spirit.

Putting things off until tomorrow is simply putting them off all together. When I delay in getting things done, it may be because I do not want to do them at all. When I accept what is, I then have an opportunity to move forward without delay. All effort, work and accomplishment take place in the present, not in the future. I release my tendency to put things off and I begin.

Much of the inclination to postpone projects and responsibilities lies in my need for order and organization in my thinking and in my life. If I am slow in getting things done, I can map them out and approach them one by one. In the glorious now of Spirit there is no more delay or procrastination.

Do you not say, "Four months more, then comes the harvest"? But I tell you, look around you, and see how the fields are ripe for harvesting.--John 4:35

Forgive

I am gentle with myself. I accept forgiveness.

Just as a bricklayer artfully builds on a solid foundation, I build my own life on love. God's unconditional love is my foundation, so if I make a mistake, I may feel remorse, but I don't shame or criticize myself. I do not place self-judgment on God's solid foundation of love.

A bricklayer, realizing a mistake, gently and quickly removes the bricks and corrects any error in the work. Likewise, I am gentle with myself. I forgive others and accept forgiveness from them, for God simply calls me to do my best. If I am guided to make amends, I do so. Through forgiveness, I am once again standing on the firm foundation of unconditional love.

You are a God ready to forgive, gracious and merciful, slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love, and you did not forsake them.--Nehemiah 9:17

Free

I choose thoughts, words and actions that set me free.

Why does one driver smile and relax in traffic, while another is tense and irritable? It is a matter of choice. Freedom of choice is an expression of our spiritual freedom, and it affects our attitudes and experiences.

Today I have a simple choice: I can be held captive by irritation and restrictive ways of thinking and being, or I can practice genuine spiritual freedom by expressing love in all I think, say and do.

I choose thoughts and words that are free of disapproval or the need to be right. I choose activities that nurture my body and mind, expressing the freedom of my soul. I choose to treat others in ways that reflect an attitude and spirit of freedom and love.

You will know the truth, and the truth will make you free.--John 8:32

Guidance

I am inspired and guided by the light of God.

In ancient rituals, people rose in the morning and turned toward the sun, honoring the source of light and warmth that sustained all life. Even on cloudy days they turned in the sun's direction and honored the source they knew to be present.

I turn within to find the light of God that is always there. I close my eyes and remove my attention from any confusion. I place my focus on my breath and open my mind. In the stillness, I receive the guidance I need. I am not in darkness, for God's light is ever shining, illuminating a path to my highest good.

With new awareness, I see possibilities for greater good in my relationships, health and finances. I keep my eyes turned toward the Light and trust the guidance I receive.

The Lord went in front of them ... in a pillar of fire by night, to give them light.--Exodus 13:21

Inner Peace

The peace of God fills my heart.

A river rushing downstream tumbles over rocks and flows around fallen logs. It is a busy current of power and energy. But deep below the surface the water is calm and quiet, gently lending strength to the bustling activity at the surface.

Deep within me is a center of peace--a quiet strength that gives me the power and energy to pursue my dreams. When I pray, I draw on the peace within me. I trust in the strength and stability of God's indwelling presence.

Although outer circumstances may appear tumultuous, my strength comes from the center of my being where the peace of my soul is undisturbed.

Intention

I live my life with intention, trusting in Divine outcome.

When I live my life from a point of intention, I consciously create my experiences. If I expect a joyful encounter, I receive a joyful encounter. If I see my day going smoothly, I create such a day. By setting my intention, I am determining what my life will look like each day.

It is as if I have placed an order with the Universe, trusting that what I desire will be delivered. I need not focus on the details--the where, the why and the how--but instead trust that God knows what is my highest good. I set my intention and let go of the outcome. I infuse my intentions with love, peace and understanding, knowing that God is my Source and all is well.

Commit your way to the Lord; trust in him, and he will act.--Psalm 37:5

Truth

The Truth of God is active in me.

In this moment of prayer, I release any misconceptions that have limited my thinking and being in the world. Spirit in me reveals Truth to my soul.

I speak Truth to my body with affirmations of health and wholeness. As I contemplate my home and workplace, my friendships and family, I affirm the Truth of harmony and prosperity.

Truth is unchanging. It is love, peace, health and eternal goodness. As I contemplate my life through the lens of Truth, I do so with thanksgiving. Thank You, God, for the eternal Truth, everywhere present, revealed in prayer and expressed through me.

Teach me your way, O Lord, that I may walk in your truth; give me an undivided heart to revere your name.--Psalm 86:11

Guidance

Divinely guided, I move forward with confidence.

Throughout each day, I have the opportunity to make many choices. From the friends I choose to the thoughts I think--everything is a choice, a manifestation of the unlimited possibilities before me.

As I prepare for an activity, I turn to God in prayer and give thanks for guidance and inspiration in making choices. I call on the inner resources at the core of my being to respond to any situation.

Although in any given moment it might appear that my choices are limited, I know this is an illusion created by my narrow human view. With spiritual eyes, I see infinite possibilities, and I make each choice with confidence and peace.

For the Lord will be your confidence and will keep your foot from being caught.--Proverbs 3:26

Free

I am free to choose how I create my day.

As I awaken each morning, I have a choice to make. How will I approach this God-given day? Will I begin by appreciating the freshness of a new day or by agonizing over my to-do list? When I remember that I am free to choose how I think, I consciously decide to not spend my precious energy in self-defeating ways.

God has blessed me with freedom. I choose today to make conscious choices about my health, my habits and my attitude. As I do, I feel energized. I have a sense of purpose. I feel renewed, creative and ready to do what is mine to do. Whatever situations or circumstances I face today, I know I am never alone. God is with me, "and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom!"

Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.--2 Corinthians 3:17

Value

I value and give thanks for my oneness with God.

When I think of the things that I value most in life, I may turn my thoughts to my relationships and experiences or to certain material things--my home or possessions. But all of these things are secondary to my faith in God.

I am at one with God, attuned to a higher presence and power. Through God's wisdom within me, I am open to divine ideas, renewed and revitalized, guided and prospered. As I appreciate my relationship with God, everything else in my life falls into place. All that I need and desire is provided in the right time and in the right way. My oneness with God is the foundation of my life. I know that I am divinely cared for each day.

Trust in the Lord, and do good; so you will live in the land, and enjoy security.--Psalm 37:3

Will

I choose my good based on spiritual understanding.

There may be times when I wonder if I am truly doing God's will; if what I want to do serves the highest good. In those moments I know that guidance is available to me. I pause and quiet my thoughts. Closing my eyes, I allow my breath to become my focus. My inhale carries wisdom through my heart to every cell of my body. My exhale releases confusion and doubt from my mind. I experience the stillness of the presence of God and gently discern my next step.

I make choices knowing that my desire is to do God's work. I follow the guidance and understanding that I am given. I am an expression of God's love, peace, harmony and abundance in the world.

For it is God who is at work in you, enabling you both to will and to work for his good pleasure.--Philippians 2:13

Pray for Others

I know that all things are possible, and I give thanks.

Dear one, I am praying for you today. You may be someone I have known for a long time or someone I just met, but regardless, I know you are divine in nature, a beloved creation of a loving God.

As I think of you, I envision perfection in mind, body and spirit. The presence of God within enables you to make wise choices and to heal in every way. God's abundance is in the very essence of your being. I envision you having everything you need to fulfill your hopes and desires.

I pray for you, and I release any need for a particular outcome. I know that all good things are possible for you and the people you care about, and for this, I give thanks.

Vacation

I take time to relax and restore my mind and body.

Spiritual teachers know the importance of taking time apart. Whether they spend time in a quiet place of beauty or embark upon a new adventure, time away from routine activities is a source of renewal.

My schedule may be filled with activities for work, family, fellowship and friends. But as important as my work and relationships are, it is also vital that I spend time away from my routine. As I allow myself time for rest and renewal, I open my awareness to the radiance of the Christ of my being and feel it expanding. Whether I am in the silence or immersed in the exhilaration of new activities, the energy of the Christ light infuses my body with vitality and my mind with peace. After a time apart, I am rested and restored.

Let Go, Let God

I lean trustingly on God and let go.

As I release old thoughts from my mind, I release old emotions from my heart. To release the old provides room for the new. A cup cannot be refilled unless it is first emptied. This day presents me with the opportunity to empty the cup, and to release old thoughts, emotions and conditions that no longer serve me.

I quietly release the old by saying, "I let go and let God." Such a prayer is practical and effective. It makes it easy to relinquish the things from which I wish to be free.

In this newfound freedom, my spirit sings. Not only do I find release from the old, but I prepare myself for new thoughts, new emotions and new conditions through which I may express more of the Holy Spirit.

Everything old has passed away; see, everything has become new!--2 Corinthians 5:17

Gratefulness

I am grateful for simply being.

Counting my blessings is a thoughtful practice, which helps me maintain an attitude of gratitude. It is good, though, to move beyond gratitude for people, places and things, to gratefulness for existence itself.

Going within, I begin by appreciating this moment of peace. Then I become grateful for simply being. This shift in consciousness allows me to fully experience my oneness with the divine Presence, oneness with all that is. The peace I feel is expansive. My gratitude opens wide the realization that I am more than my body, my personality, my experiences--I am an expression of the Divine. I've been given this moment in time to exist in this world, to love and to serve, to follow my bliss. And for this, I am truly grateful.

I will thank you forever.--Psalm 52:9

Healing

I claim my innate health and wholeness.

Out loud I affirm: I am in excellent health. I am whole and well. Then I repeat these words until they take hold in my heart and mind. I act and speak in ways that demonstrate health and wholeness.

I put my focus and my words squarely on what I know is true--that I am a perfect expression of God. Every thought, action and word is powerful. Whispers of doubt and preoccupation with illness serve no purpose. I notice how my body reacts to the words I use. Do I feel weaker? Stronger?

I choose my words carefully, whether they are words of prayer or conversation. I choose words of strength and power. I claim my health and wholeness.

Rash words are like sword thrusts, but the tongue of the wise brings healing.--Proverbs 12:18

Right Attitude

I overcome difficulty through the power of right attitude.

Children get excited by the challenge of swimming in the deep end of a pool or climbing to the top of a playground tower. They expect to overcome any difficulties they may encounter. Their faith in a successful outcome--their right attitude--empowers them to reach their goal.

Today I look upon any challenge as an opportunity to demonstrate God at work in my life. Through the power of faith, I am already well on my way to success. I maintain a divine expectation. Because I am one with God, I am capable of great feats and accomplishments. I overcome any difficulty through the power of right attitude and see success as a stepping-stone to my highest good.

Those who conquer will inherit these things, and I will be their God and they will be my children.--Revelation 21:7

Vision

I hold a vision of peace, love and harmony for myself and the world.

What is my vision for my life? What do I hope to accomplish? Where do I see myself in the near future and in the years ahead?

As I think about the vision I hold for myself, I give thanks to God. I give thanks that my future is a clean slate. It is mine to plan, mine to choose and mine to live. What a freeing feeling this is!

Right now, I sit in the quiet of prayer and open my mind and heart to God. I release my past, give thanks for the present moment and look forward to the hopes and dreams of my future. Day by day, my vision becomes clearer and my faith becomes stronger as I let go and trust God to guide me forward.

See, the former things have come to pass, and new things I now declare.--Isaiah 42:9

Guided by Love

I am guided by the love of God.

I am immersed in the flow of God's love that continually guides and blesses me. It is my guiding presence, strengthening me in mind and body and helping me be a greater expression of peace and love in the world.

Just as a leaf effortlessly flows along on a river, gently floating around and over any obstacle in its path, I effortlessly flow along on the river of life. As I relax and allow myself to be guided by the love of God, I experience the gentle peace of knowing that regardless of appearances, I am being divinely led along the path of life that is right for me. Led by the love of God, I learn the lessons I am meant to learn and reach the spiritual understanding that only I can experience for myself.

Keep your heart with all vigilance, for from it flow the springs of life.--Proverbs 4:23

Ability

I am confident in my ability to succeed.

I am naturally drawn to the idea of improving my life and discovering greater meaning and purpose. Today I have the courage to step out of my comfort zone and turn my desire for improvement into action. Perhaps there is something I have always dreamed of doing. God has given me the tools that I need, and I am confident of my ability to succeed.

I sense divine timing--I can do this now; I have all that I require; I am ready! This is the call of Spirit and it is a precious testament to Holy Spirit working in me.

Empowered by my faith in God, I answer the call. I move into new circles, stepping forward to new breakthroughs. I am confident that with every step, Spirit within lovingly supports and guides me. I have the ability, the faith and the confidence to succeed.

They replied, "We are able."--Mark 10:39

Understanding

My understanding of Truth deepens and directs my life.

My understanding of the truth has changed over time. I now see that there is ultimate Truth--the Truth of God--and there is my understanding of this Truth. Since "my truth" is subject to my perception at any moment, it changes as I grow in spiritual awareness.

Daily I am given opportunities to grow. Often, deeper understanding comes from simply listening--listening without judgment, without feeling a need to defend a position or change another's point of view. As I listen to others share their thoughts and feelings and as I attune to God in prayer and meditation, I find greater truth to guide my life. Through my spiritual unfolding, I move closer to discerning the Truth of God.

For the Lord searches every mind, and understands every plan and thought.--1 Chronicles 28:9

Prosperity

I have all the time, energy and money needed to do what is mine to do.

True prosperity is not found in the outer world, nor is it determined by the amount of money we possess. True prosperity comes from the wisdom that God is blessing us at all times and in all ways.

Prosperity is not something I have to seek; it is already here, waiting to be discovered. I find prosperity by having faith that God provides for me in every needed way.

Prosperity must be cultivated on the inside. As I begin to understand the power of God within me, it is as if I have inherited millions. I am rich in all ways and enjoy lasting abundance in all areas of my life--my health, wealth and relationships. Mere possessions can never replace the joy I feel when I am filled with the presence of God.

Those who seek the Lord lack no good thing.

Joy

Centered in God, I joyfully allow my good.

I am joyful even as I feel the need for something more in my life. Whether I desire financial abundance, a healthy body or a closer walk with God, I know with complete faith and trust that it is now coming into being. I'm willing to experience the joyful stage of waiting in the creative process. My life is always expanding, so I choose to be joyful while anticipating my highest good!

I put my mind on God and appreciate the continuous creative process of asking and receiving. I am deeply grateful as I receive the blessings of answered prayer. Every day is a miracle, filled with opportunities to give and to receive. In joyful awareness of God, I am open and receptive to my greatest good.

If you abide in me, and my words abide in you, ask for whatever you wish, and it will be done for you.--John 15:7

Service

I offer my service to people in need.

In our increasingly interconnected world, there is a vast spectrum of experiences at any given moment. We are all part of the human family, and when our brothers and sisters suffer, we suffer as well. What affects one family member affects us all.

If we are unsure about how to help someone in need, we look to God for guidance. We might be called to volunteer at a local nursing home, donate books to a library, mentor school children or send money to a worthy charity. We choose activities that resonate with our hearts and match our talents and resources. Today we begin the cycle of giving. Serving fellow members of our human family brings joy and fulfillment, for we know we are participating in truly sacred work.

This is the message you have heard from the beginning, that we should love one another.--1 John 3:11

Let Go, Let God

I open to the mystery of how my good is coming to me.

God is doing a mighty work in and through me. When I allow my own preconceived agenda to direct my life, I may be limiting the very potential I am trying to realize. As I let go of the need to control every outcome, I open the door to my greater good.

I see myself prosperous and peaceful, living life fully in loving, nurturing relationship with others. I let go of declaring exactly how this manifests, because I know that the possibilities for good in my life far exceed my imagination. My faith in God allows my life to unfold in amazing ways. As I let go and let God, magnificent things happen. With gratitude and trust, I am open to receive my good.

I sought the Lord, and he answered me, and delivered me from all my fears.--Psalm 34:4

Healing

God renews every cell of my body.

Every life has its ups and downs. Sometimes I am alive with vibrant energy, and other times, as I experience upset or illness, I feel less than my best. In such challenging times, I take a moment to remember the healing power of God.

I imagine my physical body filled with the healing, loving light of God. I give over to God all that concerns me and envision each cell renewed. Every cell of my being is alive with the energy of God.

By shifting my thoughts to my higher power, I feel instantly connected. I envision radiant health in my body this very moment. I feel stronger and more alive, renewed and energized.

Your eye is the lamp of your body. If your eye is healthy, your whole body is full of light; but if it is not healthy, your body is full of darkness.--Luke 11:34

Expect Good

I step confidently into each new experience, expecting only good.

Every day offers a variety of encounters and experiences. Often I find my experience mirrors my expectations. If I begin with fear or dread, I often have an unpleasant experience. If I am looking forward to what's next, anticipating a new adventure, I often have a rewarding experience.

Since I get to choose my thoughts, I choose to expect good. And why wouldn't I expect good? The indwelling Spirit is my constant companion. Even in the face of difficult circumstances, Spirit does not fail. I receive wisdom and guidance through divine ideas. I receive strength and energy through the power of Spirit within me. I am fully supported. In faith, I expect only good in my life.

For I, the Lord your God, hold your right hand; it is I who say to you, "Do not fear, I will help you."--Isaiah 41:13

Success

I enjoy my life's journey, and I am successful.

What does success mean to me? As I consider this question, I think of the story of the tortoise and the hare. The tortoise moved slowly along his path, enjoying his journey and the animals he met along the way. In contrast, the hare sped along, paying little attention to his surroundings, eventually falling asleep, and completely missing out on the joy of the journey.

I choose to enjoy my life's journey, experience exciting adventures and meet new people along the way. I am not preoccupied with material gains or outward demonstrations of success. I measure success by the blessings I give and receive. True success comes from Spirit. At one with the indwelling Spirit, I am successful.

David had success in all his undertakings; for the Lord was with him.--1 Samuel 18:14

Determination

With Spirit as my guide, I do what is mine to do.

At times I may feel the need to proceed with caution, perhaps concerned that my actions might lead to less than desirable results. However, when I feel led by Spirit, I can be more deliberate and forthright in my actions. Some of my greatest accomplishments have come from determination to do what God was guiding me to do.

The simple act of deciding sets the universe in motion. Spirit provides me with the ideas and means to achieve great things. Once I have decided that Spirit is my guide, my way is made clear. I move beyond fears and limitations and have the resolve and determination to do what is mine to do.

You will decide on a matter, and it will be established for you, and light will shine on your ways.--Job 22:28

Inner Peace

I am now enfolded in the peace of God.

If I were to wait until the world's conflicts were resolved before discovering my own peace, I would be searching for something outside myself that is already within. The spirit of God within me is my center of peace--so I gently bring my attention inward. Here is where I find peace and serenity.

Instead of waiting for the world to give me peace, I give my peace to the world. Centering my thoughts on the peace within, I let tranquillity flow from me through my words and actions.

To the person who is upset, I am a patient listener. To the child who is fearful, I am the soothing voice of composure. I fully participate in life from the peace of God within my soul. I am God's peace in expression.

To set the mind on the Spirit is life and peace.--Romans 8:6

Prosperity

By the grace of God, I am unlimited.

It may be fun to wonder: "If money were no object, where would I go, what would I do?" But money does not define my prosperity. My wealth is not limited to the dollars in my bank account.

The abundance of the universe is mine. Every blade of grass, every grain of sand and every particle of air is here for me and for all. By the grace and goodness of God, I am unlimited. I am wealthy beyond measure because I am one with God.

I give thanks for the unlimited good that surrounds me. All that I am, all that I have, all that I give and all that I receive are part of God's infinite and unlimited good flowing to me and through me right now.

For surely I know the plans I have for you, says the Lord, plans for your welfare and not for harm, to give you a future with hope.--Jeremiah 29:11

Sunshine

The light of God surrounds me.

On this day, when half of our planet experiences the longest day of the year and half experiences the shortest day, I celebrate the light of the sun. I am warmed by its rays, nurtured by its light, and awed by its colorful displays in the morning and evening sky. The sun's presence exemplifies the order of God's universe, which is as constant in me as it is in the heavens.

God is the light that surrounds me, the love that enfolds me, the power that protects me, and the presence that watches over me.

With gratitude, I celebrate the light of the sun that brings life to the planet and the light of God that brings life to me. I shine my light by being a presence for good in the world.

The sun rises and the sun goes down, and hurries to the place where it rises.--Ecclesiastes 1:5

Support

I give thanks for my father and those who have supported me.

I give thanks today for my father and for those who have served as my mentors in life. Whether a father or parent figure, a mentor or a friend, they are people who believed in me no matter what. They have advised, supported and listened to me as I've grown in awareness and abilities.

Today I also give thanks for those who might be counting on me in a similar way. To the children in my life, I commit to provide them with wisdom and resources. I affirm the best for them, offer encouraging words and take positive action to support them.

In learning to give to others, I honor those who have supported me on my way. I am grateful to be the giver and receiver of unconditional love and support.

Fathers make known to children your faithfulness.--Isaiah 38:19

Let Go, Let God

Letting go and letting God, I am confident, peaceful and strong.

A young child may latch onto a favorite stuffed animal or an old blanket and carry it with them wherever they go. When the child is lonely, scared or tired, this "security blanket" is comforting. Eventually, the child learns to let go of the item and becomes aware of his or her ability to cope with these unsettling feelings.

As an adult, I may revert to fear, anxiety or doubt when I am faced with a life challenge. The security of old thought patterns may be more comforting to me than taking a different path. However, as I learn to let go and let God, I find that God has instilled in me all that I need to face life with confidence and composure.

Today I put away my security blanket. I let go, and I let God. And I am at peace.

Do not worry about anything.--Philippians 4:6

Knock

I open my mind and heart to the goodness of God.

Prayer is the knocking that opens the door of my consciousness to the flow of God's good. Prayer prepares me to receive by increasing my awareness of my oneness with God. Prayer focuses me inward and away from outer circumstances.

Becoming relaxed, calm and peaceful, I knock, and the door is opened. I ask in faith, giving thanks in advance for the answers that are forthcoming. I wait in faithful knowing for the guidance and insight I seek.

I realize that my heart's desires first came to me through my soul's knowing that with God all things are possible. With confidence, I go about my day in peaceful expectancy, for I have opened my mind and heart to the continuous flow of God's goodness.

Ask, and it will be given you ... knock and the door will be opened for you.--Matthew 7:7

Mindfulness

I am alive and awake in the present moment.

When I am mindful, I am fully conscious of the present moment. My thoughts are not fixed on the past or projected into the future. Alive with awareness, I don't let life pass me by. I am present and able to make conscious choices.

If I find myself waiting in line or stalled in traffic, I do not indulge in frustration. Instead, I bring a sense of joy and aliveness into the moment. I pause and give thanks. I am mindful, aware and appreciative of how Spirit breathes in and through me. I center myself in gratitude and acceptance.

Being mindful, I am clearheaded and aware of inner guidance. I don't hold on to doubt, worry or frustration. I create the life I desire one moment at a time.

The Lord has been mindful of us; he will bless us.--Psalm 115:12

Comfort

I am comforted by the love and presence of God.

As my life moves forward over the years, I experience times of joy, times of peace and sometimes moments of sadness. I may feel sorrow over a loss or discontentment over a condition or circumstance in my life. Especially at times such as these, I turn to God.

The love and presence of God provides me with comfort that calms my very soul. I look to the source of all good. As a result, my focus on any seeming upsets or difficult conditions begins to diminish. Instead of discord, I find consolation and clarity. The warmth of the spirit of God brings serenity and harmony to my life, and I am at peace.

I will turn their mourning into joy, I will comfort them, and give them gladness for sorrow.--Jeremiah 31:13

Gratitude

From a place of gratitude, I see beauty in everyone and everything.

When I adopt an attitude of gratitude, I create a shift in my outlook. Instead of seeing problems, I see opportunities. Instead of feeling hopeless, I feel hopeful. By focusing on what is working well, I invite more of the same.

When I let others know, "I am grateful for you," I create a connection of love and understanding. Through these simple words, I help others see their own beauty and the contribution they make in the world.

Through prayer, meditation or journal writing, I begin and end each day reflecting on the many ways Spirit blesses me. I approach life in a state of gratitude. I see the magnificence all around me, and I am filled with joy for all the good in this world.

We welcome this in every way and everywhere with utmost gratitude.--Acts 24:3

Energy

I am energized by the power of God within me.

Energy is the inherent power of God within that responds to my desire to accomplish things. In whatever I do today, I am expressing the power, vigor and strength of God. I am God-energy in action.

I am a force for good, expressing my talents in positive ways. I am mindful of the balance between work and rest, giving and receiving, striving to accomplish and letting things work out in their own time. Energized by the power of God within, I discern what is mine to do, and I accomplish it as Spirit directs.

From the smallest step to the longest journey, I know the spirit of God goes before me to guide my way. I move forward with confidence and gratitude.

The God who has girded me with strength has opened wide my path.--2 Samuel 22:33

Thrive

I thrive in body, mind and spirit.

For every living thing there is a period of development that is concealed by nature. Impressive changes take place in a secluded, inner environment--a seed, a chrysalis, an egg--before new life is birthed into the physical world.

There may be times of apparent dormancy in my life as well, when changes are occurring within me at depth and may not be evident to others. Quiet times of reflection, rest and recuperation yield extraordinary results.

My life transforms as I open myself to the infinite power that is within me. I experience a new sense of peace and heightened awareness. There is a shift taking place within me--a shift from surviving each day to thriving each day in body, mind and spirit.

Grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord.--2 Peter 3:18

Intention

I fulfill my purpose as I share love with the world.

Mother Teresa once said, "It is not the magnitude of our actions but the amount of love that is put into them that matters." What a beautiful illustration of the power of right intention and the blessing of acting in love.

What is my intention today? What mark do I want to make in the world? I have a desire to be genuine with all whom I meet. I have a desire to demonstrate my faith in God and to be a light in the world. As I share my light with others, I feel purposeful and my life follows a divinely directed path. I attract unlimited good, and I experience relationships that are happy and fulfilling. I am a channel of love and light.

My purpose shall stand, and I will fulfill my intention.--Isaiah 46:10

Pray for Others

I bring all those I am praying for into a circle of faith and love.

Today I accept a divine assignment--an assignment to pray for friends and family, to pray for anyone who may need support or encouragement as they move beyond any present difficulties:

Dear One - I hold you in the light and love of God. I pray that as you open yourself to divine blessings, you receive greater peace, health and prosperity. I envision you healthy and whole, pursuing your goals and fulfilling your dreams.

I pray that at the start of your day, you are filled with confidence and energy, ready to experience a day of accomplishment and meaning. I pray that tonight as you lay your head on your pillow, ready for sleep, you have peace about the day that is ending and expectation of good for the new day to come. And so it is. Amen.

I am with you in spirit.--Colossians 2:5

Prosperity

My life is abundant, and I share my abundance by serving others.

Sharing love and kindness comes naturally, like smiling at a stranger, helping a neighbor, cooking a meal, hugging a child. When someone needs help or support, I give freely and easily. These are blessings of God expressing through me and as me.

My life in turn is abundantly blessed by all that I receive--a thoughtful note from a friend, the gift of a brilliant sunrise, a good night's sleep. My abundance is not measured by money or possessions. Instead, my abundance reflects the moment-to-moment blessings of God in my life.

Giving and receiving are bound tightly together. As I turn my thoughts to the blessings of life today, I am full of gratitude for each one given and received.

The measure you give will be the measure you get, and still more will be given you.--Mark 4:24

Togetherness

I work with others in harmony and peace.

I am a magnificent creation of God, blessed with physical, mental and emotional abilities that enable me to co-create wonderful moments in life. I live in a world filled with other people who are also wondrous creations, and as I connect with them, my power to co-create multiplies.

In my workplace, community or household, the best results often come through shared efforts toward a common goal. I model the ability to listen to others and consider their ideas. When I work with others effectively, the world is a little more harmonious than it would be otherwise. I celebrate the willingness and ability of all people to work together in harmony and oneness.

Guidance

I turn to God within and know my path is directed.

It is a blessing to turn within to God in prayer. I make time every day to still my thoughts and focus my attention on the Presence. When I face a challenging decision, I may want to ask friends and family what they think I should do. But the most direct path to an answer is to pray for divine guidance.

I offer up questions, both about the big decisions and the momentary choices, and I listen for the still small voice within. Whether my guidance comes as an urging, a clear sense of direction or through the suggestion of a friend, I know it is meant for me. I am at peace when I act on this guidance. I trust blessings to flow, knowing that all is working toward my highest good.

Nurture

I give thanks that I am loved and supported.

Mother Earth accepts each seed and enfolds it in love. She provides a place for roots to grow and nourishes the green shoots that reach toward the sun.

I give thanks today for my own mother. If I cannot speak with her or be with her, I send her my loving thoughts. I give thanks for the arms that embraced me, for the nourishment of my body and soul, and for the encouraging words that inspired me to aim higher.

There are also ways that I may nurture and support others. No matter what my age or status in life, I have love to share. The spirit of God is my ever-present source of support and encouragement. For love, both given and received, I am grateful.

He will feed his flock like a shepherd; ... and gently lead the mother sheep.--Isaiah 40:11

Inner Peace

I affirm the peace of God within me.

There is no other day like today. It is unique and special. It is an opportunity to begin anew, to experience a clean slate, a new beginning. As I begin this day, I feel the peace of living in this now moment, of experiencing God's good in all its splendor. Instead of looking back on the concerns of the past, I enjoy the moment--right here, right now--and the peace it brings.

Today is a new day, a day in which I lay down any fear or stress, a day in which I needn't be worried or concerned. There is only now, only God, and with God, unlimited good is being revealed to me and through me.

Today is a special day, one in which I choose to live in peace.

This is the day that the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it.--Psalm 118:24

Present Moment

Here and now, I create the life I want.

The present moment is the point of action in my life--my opportunity to create my bliss. There is no need to ruminate on the past or daydream about the future when I can do something constructive with the now.

Taking advantage of the present moment is like waking up in the morning. I'm no longer in a dreamlike state; instead, I'm fully awake and aware of what is before me.

Why postpone the life I desire? Right here and right now, I can begin creating it. That may mean making a business plan, enrolling in school or moving a relationship to the next level. Whatever my dreams, I can advance them in the present moment. Guided and supported by God, I live my best life now.

Be dressed for action and have your lamps lit.--Luke 12:35

Choices

My choices are guided by God.

Each day, I make a number of decisions. They may be mundane, like choosing what to wear, or they may be vital, addressing health, relationship or financial challenges. Even when my choices seem limited, I know there is always a choice that reveals the highest and best in me.

In all my life's circumstances, if I listen closely, I am being clearly guided. The guidance of God may show up in many ways--as an unlikely coincidence, a word or phrase that stands out in conversation or an inner knowing that needs no explanation.

I take comfort knowing that I am continually directed to make wise decisions that bless me and strengthen my faith in God's guidance.

If we live by the Spirit, let us also be guided by the Spirit.--Galatians 5:25

Grace

God loves me right where I am.

As a child I may have learned that I must earn all good things in life. In school, awards are handed out for special achievement; at work, promotions are given to high achievers. I may also have believed that God, too, rewards only those who make an extra effort.

Grace teaches me that I am loved right where I am, regardless of what I have or have not done. I do not have to earn God's love. I do not have to achieve a certain status or reach a certain milestone to be loved. Right where I am, God loves me. In gratitude, I become more aware of the gifts of life and love that are mine every day. I relax as I awaken to the wonder of being God's beloved, right here and now.

You make him glad with the joy of your presence.--Psalm 21:6

Miracles

Miracles are ever-present and all around me.

Caught up in the busyness of the day or temporarily distracted by the challenges of life, I may overlook the miracles that surround me. But when I am fully present, I notice miracles everywhere--in nature, in others and in me.

The day I was born was miraculous--but so is every day when I take time to notice. When I focus my attention here and now, I see the divine in everyone. I see Spirit expressing in everything and every life situation. I am aware of the amazing manifestations of God. I wake up, pay attention and allow Spirit to flow through me. I remember that I, too, am a miracle and my life--right now--is blessed beyond measure.

Our World (Earth Day 2010)

I am a conscious, conscientious part of a living world.

The abundant life on this planet provides for all my physical needs. Everything I need comes directly or indirectly from the bounty of the earth. Conscious of the interconnection of all life systems, I am amazed by the order that governs it all. I, too, am part of that order, an integral part of the web of life.

I live responsibly as a citizen of Earth, and I consciously do my part to protect and restore this beautiful planet. I join with my children, my grandchildren, neighbors and friends in living harmoniously with nature. Aware of the impact I and others have on the systems that support all life, I am a conscientious inhabitant of God's abundant Earth.

This is my prayer, that your love may overflow more and more with knowledge and full insight to help you to determine what is best.--Philippians 1:9-10

Everyone wants to feel appreciated. We want to know our efforts have been worthwhile, our talents are important, and our views and opinions are valuable.

Have I told the people in my life lately that I appreciate them? Have I thanked them for their love and support, their faith and understanding, their time and effort?

I show my appreciation today by sending the people I care about an encouraging card or e-mail, treating them to a special lunch or a bouquet of flowers, or doing an errand that helps ease the stress in their lives. I make it known that I truly appreciate them. With every gesture of appreciation, I, too, am blessed. Every act of gratitude opens me to greater abundance, love, peace and joy.

I do not cease to give thanks for you as I remember you in my prayers.--Ephesians 1:16

Joy

I find joy in all God's blessings

I take pleasure in the simple joys of a family dinner or a walk outside in the sweet evening air. I rejoice in life's celebrations--the birth of a baby or a wedding or graduation ceremony. My joys are abundant, and today I cherish them.

I feel the love of God in all aspects of my life. My heart sings with gratitude for the gift of sharing my days with those I love. I look for ways to contribute to the joy of others--my friends, co-workers and neighbors.

The simple process of counting my blessings is itself one of the greatest joys of my life. From my first waking breath each morning to the last sigh before falling asleep each night, I find joy in all God's blessings.

Sing, O heavens, for the Lord has done it ... break forth into singing, O mountains.--Isaiah 44:23

Playful

I relax into Spirit and have fun!

Play comes easily to children. They spend entire days engaged in joyful activity. As an adult, I often become immersed in the seriousness of life and lose touch with the fun-loving child in me. But when I allow myself to play, I feel connected to Spirit. I am in tune with the lighter side of life. Life seems more amusing when I realize it's not meant to be focused on stress and worry, but on freedom and joy.

When I turn within, I reconnect with my playful spirit. I embrace the happiness that is here for me every day. Play is a natural expression of my being, and another aspect of my growth. When I let go and let God, I enjoy life and play!

And all the people went up following him, playing on pipes and rejoicing with great joy, so that the earth quaked at their noise.--1 Kings 1:40

Self-Care

I take care of myself. I honor my needs.

Sometimes I may feel overwhelmed with the many responsibilities in my life. I may begin to feel sorry for myself or blame others for my situation. I know then it is time to reconnect with Spirit. I become quiet and listen to the still small voice within, guiding me in loving and caring for myself.

I take specific actions to ensure my health, my happiness and my peace of mind. I may say "no" to a request. I might take a nap or turn off the cell phone or take a solitary walk around the block. By providing the self-care I need, when I need it, I replenish my mind, body and soul. I can more easily achieve my goals, be present to the people around me and fully realize Spirit within me. I move into a higher state of consciousness and directly into feelings of love--for myself and others.

You are our glory and joy!--1 Thessalonians 2:20

Faith

I have everything I need--now and always.

In the spring, I have faith that the air will begin to warm and new sprouts and blossoms will appear. This has happened every spring before now, and it will happen every spring to come.

With this same faith, I know that when I am hungry, food will be available. When I am thirsty, my thirst will be quenched. When I am cold, I will have clothing and shelter. Right now, I have everything I need. As I become aware of the truth of this statement, I am able to drop any worries about what is to come. In this moment, I let go of any fear or anxiety about the future and rest in unwavering faith. All is well. I am at peace knowing I have everything I need.

Do not worry, saying, "What will we eat?" or "What will we drink?" or "What will we wear?"--Matthew 6:31

Empowered

I attune myself to the power of God within.

When I am attuned to God and aligned with God's purpose for me, nothing can stand between me and my bliss. I am a divine being, blessed with miraculous gifts that allow me to rise above any challenge and live my dreams.

I have within me the power of divine love. This love dissolves any obstacle, heals any condition, overcomes any inequity. I am empowered to fulfill my potential and to make this world a better place.

I have the courage and grace to face any situation in life and triumph over it. I share my successes with friends and loved ones, and I help them discover their own inner power.

For God did not give us a spirit of cowardice, but rather a spirit of power and of love and of self- discipline.--2 Timothy 1:7

Resurgence

I act on the desires of my heart.

Have I fulfilled my hopes and dreams in life? Am I where I planned to be? Any discontentment I feel with my present circumstances may be an inner nudge to reawaken the desires I have allowed to become dormant. Perhaps now is the time to display my creativity, travel to far-off places or serve God and others in a whole new way. Acknowledging this urge, I allow myself to consider new possibilities. My soul surges as I expand my horizons.

Remaining flexible and open, I don't limit myself to any preconceived ideas of what I can or cannot do. Spirit within provides all I need to satisfy the longings that once seemed lost, but now are found.

When she has found it, she calls together her friends and neighbors, saying, "Rejoice with me, for I have found the coin that I had lost."--Luke 15:9

Guidance

I quietly tune in to the wisdom of God and receive divine direction.

All day long, wherever I go, whatever I do, I tune in to the wisdom of God. If I have an important decision to make or I am puzzled about which course of action to take, I find my answer through prayer.

I affirm that divine light is shining in and through me now, showing me what to do and how to do it. Then I practice the art of listening in the silence, which fills me with new spiritual understanding. The transcendent, indwelling Spirit lifts me up and makes all the ways of my life clear, all my needs understandable, all my decisions easy and all my questions answerable.

I joyously accept and follow the spiritual guidance I receive, and my life is established in peace, love and harmony.

When a trumpet is blown, listen!--Isaiah 18:3

Prosperity

God's unlimited good flows to me and through me.

Today I affirm my oneness with the all-ness of God. I am a channel of God's abundance, energy and power. I am a vehicle of expression for the spirit of the living God. Unlimited good comes to me and flows through me. Divine inspiration is my inspiration. It lifts my spirit and motivates me to act, filling me with energy and confidence, faith and clarity.

My awareness of the abundance of God expands each time I pray, each time I unify myself with the presence of God. In prayer, my mind opens to the blessings I may have missed and the unlimited possibilities before me. I am prosperous, for I live in the flow of God's unlimited good.

For the Lord will again take delight in prospering you, just as he delighted in prospering your ancestors.--Deuteronomy 30:9

Transformation

I am unfolding in meaningful ways.

I may have thought transformation would strike as a bolt of lightning. I may have believed there would be a physical change, visible for others to see. They'd say to me, "You've been transformed."

Now I know transformation is a moment-by-moment realization. It takes place in incremental steps. I look back and realize I am different than I was before. I make better choices. I listen. I learn. I reach out to others, and I see glory in every face.

These small changes signal a new me emerging. I am living transformation with each small step and every new choice, moving into higher and higher awareness of the unfoldment of my soul.

And you shall be called by a new name that the mouth of the Lord will give.--Isaiah 62:2

Spring

Wisdom, strength and love are reborn in me today.

Every year I see the rebirth of spring as the grass turns green, flowers bud and leaves and blossoms burst forth on the trees. Each sign of spring occurs at the right and perfect time, when the earth is ready to generate new life.

My personal springtime occurs as I open my heart and mind to the Divine. To prepare my soul for rebirth, I pray and meditate. In quiet times with God, I shift my attention from thoughts and feelings that no longer serve me. I invite wisdom, strength and love into my life knowing that these powers propel me on my way to growth and renewal. As in nature, my renewal comes precisely when my soul is receptive and ready.

In his hand is the life of every living thing and the breath of every human being.--Job 12:10

Enough

I have everything I need.

So much to do and so little time! When I feel hurried or overwhelmed, I may have forgotten one simple truth. Created in the image and likeness of God, I've inherited all of the qualities of God. I have enough time, resources and strength to do all that is mine to do. Not only do I have enough, I am enough.

I am a spiritual being having a human experience. I am worthy and deserving of bountiful goodness, not only because of what I do, but because of who I am. My potential is unlimited, and I am free to be my best and to see the best in all others. I am an eternal being. Today I am fully present to my experience, taking time to appreciate everyone and everything around me.

You are not in the flesh; you are in the Spirit, since the Spirit of God dwells in you.--Romans 8:9

Insight

The perfect solution is clear and available now.

If something is bothering me, I know where to turn for insight. I close my eyes, and I go within. Taking a few cleansing breaths, I allow any sense of burden to melt away. I focus on the gentle rise and fall of my chest and abdomen as I inhale and exhale.

As I go deeper, I experience my oneness with God. Every cell in my body is filled with God's life force; every aspect of who I am is an expression of God's creation. Knowing that I am one with my source, I am at peace.

In prayer I open myself to the infinite options and divine possibilities I never knew existed. New insights and ideas fill my mind. I realize the perfect solution is clear and available to me now.

For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways.--Isaiah 55:9

Free

I am free!

I choose to use my freedom to experience something wonderful and life-affirming, rather than something I consider negative. I affirm what is true: I was created out of the life, love and intelligence of God. I was created to live a full and fulfilling life. I speak my affirmations of truth aloud or hold them silently in mind; then I act with confidence and faith.

There is no need to blame others or myself for mistakes or missteps. I am not held back by any past condition or circumstance. I let go of all ideas that restrict my free expression and embrace each new day as another opportunity to give expression to my spiritual nature. The indwelling Spirit is the source of my freedom to be all that I want to be. I am free!

You will know the truth, and the truth will make you free.--John 8:32

Crossroads

With God's guidance, I choose the right path.

Through the course of our lives there are defining moments. Perhaps I am at one of those crucial junctures now, contemplating options that could have a dramatic impact on my future. Do I choose the path that keeps my status quo intact? Or do I choose a path that could transform me as well as my circumstances?

Whenever I reach a crossroads, I turn to God for divine guidance. This guidance may show up in a variety of forms, but I recognize it by the way it resonates throughout my body, mind and soul. As I open my heart and listen, I understand which direction to take, and I move forward with confidence and joyful anticipation.

Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.--Psalm 119:105

Healing

Spirit within is my health and my strength.

When faced with a health challenge, I might look beyond myself for answers. As I seek help and information from others, I may feel confused or unsure. Rather than becoming concerned, I act in faith. There is assistance within me through the Source of all life. I pray for guidance and feel the assurance of Spirit. As I speak affirmations of health and well-being, my body responds in kind.

With a clear mind, I can consider what to do next. I may choose to accept the help of the medical community. Or I may follow a different path. Whatever the choice, I remain aligned with a divine plan of health and renewal. I know and affirm that Spirit within is my health and strength.

Faith

I walk by faith, not by sight.

Today I stand firmly in my faith. I meet life courageously and confidently, seeing beyond appearances to the underlying good. Through faith I overcome every limitation. I know that God's power in me is greater than any situation I may have to meet or overcome; God is greater than any condition or circumstance.

Through faith I am fearless and free. Faith dispels fear, for faith knows the nothingness of fear. Faith reminds me that God is the only presence and power in my life.

Through faith I am steady and strong. I am assured that with God there is always a way, with God there are always right answers.

Through faith I walk in the light. I am shown the way of my highest good. I am healed. I am blessed.

We walk by faith, not by sight.--2 Corinthians 5:7

World Peace

Let there be peace on Earth, and let it begin with me.

When my attention turns to areas of conflict in the world, I may lose my own sense of peace or feel small and insignificant. Yet I've learned to take a broader perspective: Peace is truly the rule in the world, and conflict is the exception.

Peace abounds as we all work together in cooperation. A new day is dawning in which we know we are children of God, whole and complete. Individually, and as nations, we are enough and we have enough.

We live in a world of peace and plenty. As the world works together in cooperation, natural resources and abundant good will be available to all. I am filled with faith and hope for our world. I let there be peace on Earth, and I let it begin with me.

May mercy, peace, and love be yours in abundance.--Jude 1:2

Faith

Faith is my solid foundation.

In the middle of a forest, a seed falls from a tree, takes root in the soil and begins to grow. Even in the densest forest, the seed will sprout, become a sapling and stretch its branches toward the light.

Like that seed, my faith grows continually, nourished by the foundation of prayer in my life. I nurture my faith with positive thoughts, words and actions. I reach out to others and welcome the wisdom and understanding of people who have walked the path before me.

Just as a tree shelters those around it, my faith provides me with comfort, reassurance and inspiration. It brings me peace and urges me onward. I am rooted in faith.

Truly I tell you, if you have faith and do not doubt ... even if you say to this mountain, "Be lifted up and thrown into the sea," it will be done.--Matthew 21:21

Pray for Others

I connect with Spirit as I pray for others.

When I pray, I connect deeply with Spirit and know I am one with the Divine. In this oneness, I feel connected to my family, friends and community and to all people.

When I pray for another--perhaps someone with a health concern, facing a financial situation or dealing with a family issue--I open myself to Spirit and to the connection we all share. I may pray for the renewal of this person's health, prosperity or peace. However, my prayer for any one person is in truth a prayer for the world. It represents our divine connection.

When I pray for others, just as when I pray for myself, I know my prayers are answered. In thanks, I know that all is well.

Whatever you ask for in prayer with faith, you will receive.--Matthew 21:22

Gratitude

Gratefully, I participate in the divine cycle of giving and receiving.

There are many things to be grateful for in my daily life--food, shelter and loved ones, to name a few. I vow to never be so caught up in the busyness of the day that I take anything for granted. I appreciate the people and the material blessings in my life, and I know that I am part of an even higher good. I live in a universe that continually refreshes itself through the cycle of giving and receiving. Seeing myself in this context, I remember to demonstrate a positive, constructive approach to life that blesses me and those around me.

The truth of my being is that I am an expression of God, participating in the divine flow of giving and receiving. I am grateful for every blessing and for the opportunity to perpetuate the flow of abundance.

With my song I give thanks to him.--Psalm 28:7

Prosperity

I am grateful for the divine flow of good in my life.

When I hear the word "prosperity," my first thought may be of my bank account. In that moment, I may feel either relief or anxiety. I understand, though, that prosperity is not defined by merely dollars and cents.

True prosperity is about spiritual wealth. It's about knowing that my true source is not my employer, my partner or my parent. God is the source of my greatest good.

When I am aware of the ever-flowing wisdom and grace of God's spirit, I cannot help but create prosperity in all areas of my life--in my relationships, my health, my wealth. As I focus on the Truth, abundance flows. I am rich in all ways, and I am grateful.

You know in your hearts and souls, all of you, that not one thing has failed of all the good things that the Lord your God promised.--Joshua 23:14

Harmony

I choose to live in harmony with others, expressing peace and goodwill.

Conflicts and misunderstandings may erupt easily when people react without thought. Rather than react, I choose to stay centered in the presence of God. With this foundation, I am poised to respond to others harmoniously.

Whatever the circumstances, my attitude is one of cooperation and understanding. I am an expression of divine peace in the world.

There is nothing to fear, for I know that the presence of God within solves every dilemma, eases every pressure and mends every relationship. As I allow God's loving presence to shine through all my interactions, I experience the rewards of friendship and love. My mind is clear, my heart is open and my world is harmonious.

Be of the same mind, having the same love, being in full accord and of one mind.--Philippians 2:2

Joy

The joy that I share returns to me multiplied.

Our friends and family make up a social network in which we share greetings of love, enjoyable activities and quiet moments together. Our joy reflects Spirit within us and is something we can give to one another, whether we are in the same room or miles apart.

Happy times we've shared with others, whether around the breakfast table or in conversation over the phone or even through e-mail, we can pass along to others throughout our day.

Feelings of gladness ripple out far beyond our immediate circle of acquaintances. As we release the joy of our souls into the universe, it returns to us multiplied.

Honor and majesty are before him; strength and joy are in his place.--1 Chronicles 16:27

Guidance

Attuned to God, I am wise and understanding.

Before I act, I choose first to be still and become attuned to God. As I pause, I open myself to divine guidance and receive new insights into the situations of my life so that I may speak with wisdom and compassion. I am guided to wise choices that honor my body temple and activate the healing energy of God's love. I see clearly the right path for me to take, and I step forward in confidence. My heart is filled with understanding and forgiveness, and my relationships bring joy and comfort.

If I ever doubt myself, I know that God's guidance is always available. When I am attuned to God, I am wise and understanding.

This Moment

In this moment, I am creating the life I choose.

Moments are fleeting. Once passed, they cannot be recaptured. Each moment is a precious gift and holds the promise of a new beginning.

Throughout my day, I allow the presence of God to fill me with an awareness of this now moment. I release my thoughts of yesterday or tomorrow and bask in the wonder of the present moment for the gift that it is. Each moment is a building block upon which my life is created. Every loving thought, every kind word, every prayer, adds to the solid foundation of my life.

Moment by moment, I am creating a full and fulfilling life.

Grace

I gratefully accept every blessing of God's grace.

Knowing that the grace of God supports me at all times, I am alert to life-enriching opportunities. I not only recognize good, I draw it to me. Encouraged to accept all that blesses me and to bless others, I do not set limits on my capabilities. I have the courage to do what may have seemed impossible in the past.

As I act and speak from the inspiration of Spirit, I do my very best. Accepting the grace of God, I convey a confidence in my relationships with others. I am caring and compassionate, and I gratefully acknowledge these same qualities in others. Through prayer, I am immersed in spiritual understanding and open to divine ideas.

God is able to provide you with every blessing in abundance, so that ... you may share abundantly in every good work.--2 Corinthians 9:8

Centered in God

As I commune with God in prayer, I am filled with peace.

I take a moment now to reconnect with God in prayer:

"Dear God, I center myself in Your serene presence. I feel the weight of stress lifting from my shoulders, for in You I release any issues that trouble me. I breathe easily now, feeling Your strength, Your love and Your peace, confident that only good is unfolding. Each breath renews my mind and body. Each breath draws me deeper into this prayerful experience as I feel my oneness with You expand. You are the very foundation of my life, and I build my dreams upon the rock of Your love. Success and fulfillment await me. Thank You, God, for Your ever-present help."

I return now to my daily activities, fully at peace in God's presence.

The peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.--Philippians 4:7

Let Go, Let God

I release my concerns and accept the good that is unfolding now.

A rabbit might race round and round in a fenced yard, convinced there is no way out. Exhausted, the little creature finally pauses long enough to see the opening in the fence and find his freedom. At times my mind races round and round, too, seeking an answer by examining every detail of the problem. My freedom comes when I lift my thoughts above the situation and surrender to God.

From this spiritual view, I gain a new understanding. I trust Spirit within me and take right action as I am guided. My faith in the constant and infinite supply of God assures me that my good can come to me through any situation. I accept and give thanks for the good that is unfolding now.

I love the Lord, because he has heard my voice and my supplications.--Psalm 116:1

Purpose

By following my potential and my passion, I fulfill my divine purpose.

Today I ask myself: Am I doing what I love? If the answer is no, perhaps it is time to reevaluate why I am pursuing something that may be out of alignment with my heart's desires.

To discover my divine purpose, I turn within and see what lights my inner flame. As I consider different options, I feel an immediate surge of energy, creativity and excitement as I connect with my purpose and discover my true calling.

Perhaps I am hesitant to proceed for some reason. If this is the case, I take the matter directly to God in prayer. There is a way for me to follow my passion and fulfill my potential. The perfect path awaits if I have the courage to believe.

Life

I am a robust expression of the divine energy of life.

Even in the midst of winter, while the flowers may not yet have broken through the earth, life finds a way to declare itself, seizing opportunities to grow and expand. First a seed, then a bud, then a robust beauty! The same divine process is at work in me. Every day I realize more of the spirit and energy of God flowing through me. With each breath, each heartbeat, I feel God's life surging through my body and mind.

My thoughts are stayed on God as the source of all life. My faith is fortified as I see these thoughts rebuilding and refreshing my body and mind. I am healed by the renewing power of life, and I enthusiastically praise this power of God within me.

The Lord God formed man from the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life.--Genesis 2:7

Guidance

I am divinely inspired to right action.

What a wonderful assurance this is: "Let there be light." What a blessing it is to know that the light of God is within me, day and night, in good times and in challenging times. One with God, I face each day with confidence.

The light of God fills me with passion--the passion to explore new horizons. The light of God inspires me to right actions--actions that bless my world and the people in it. In the light of God I tap into divine creative energy. I am empowered to express my skills and talents in new and exciting ways.

God's light radiates power in my life. I trust and embrace this light, giving thanks for the illumination that empowers my mind and body, filling my life and circumstances.

Inner Peace

In the quiet of this moment, I am at peace. All is well.

Allowing time for the silence of prayer and meditation is vital to my well-being. In the quiet, I am serene. I am still. I am calm. Inner peace permeates my body and clears my mind. I am connected to the Divine.

If at a later time I find myself in a challenging situation, the time I spent in the silence allows me to maintain tranquility. I am able to focus on the peace of God in the midst of the challenge. I focus on faith and love and know that all is well.

My actions of compassion, gratitude and service reflect the serenity I feel within. In choosing inner peace, I bring greater peace to the outer world.

Harmony

Connected to Spirit, my life is in perfect harmony.

Voices in harmony create a delicious blending, a beautiful sound. Hearing it brings pure joy. Conversely, when harmony is off, the imbalance is disturbing.

It is that way in my life also. At times, I may get sidetracked, focusing on the ways in which my life appears to be flawed. In that frame of mind, I feel disconnected and discontented. But as I become aware of my disharmony, I can make adjustments.

Just as musicians must listen carefully and bring their voices into alignment to create harmony, I, too, must listen in order to bring myself into alignment with Spirit. When I am in sync with God, harmony is the inspiring result. I am blessed and at peace.

Above all, clothe yourselves with love, which binds everything together in perfect harmony.--Colossians 3:14

Healing

I am an ever-renewing expression of divine life.

I am a creation of God, an ever-renewing expression of divine life. The cells of my body and every organ and tissue vibrate with the life of God rejuvenating and strengthening me.

By exercising both my body and my mind, I improve my spiritual well-being as well as my physical, emotional and mental health. I practice deep, meditative breathing, which renews me during my prayer time and is good for me anywhere, anytime.

In prayer each day, I contemplate the life of God within. I affirm health and wholeness, and my body responds with life and energy. I focus on the flow of divine life within me and give thanks for God renewing me now.

On the day I called, you answered me, you increased my strength of soul.--Psalm 138:3

Choice

I choose the spirit of God.

The power of choice enables me to co-create my life with God and with others. Through prayer, I choose to bring the peace and love of God into my everyday experiences. I also choose to be around people who are healthy for me while remaining aware of the spirit of God within all. I honor my own value and see it reflected in my choice of friends and associates, who also value themselves and make wise choices.

When I feel as though I have little or no choice in a given situation, I call on my inner wisdom to recognize the spirit of God at work. I open my mind to divine possibilities and release any judgment of myself or others. I choose wisely and give thanks for right outcomes that arrive in the right and perfect way at the right and perfect time.

You did not choose me but I chose you.--John 15:16

Prosperity

I am successful and fulfilled, realizing the power of God in me.

The headlines may say the economy is less than healthy. A glance at my checkbook may indicate that my financial situation is less than ideal. But these indicators do not measure my true wealth. My true wealth lies in the power of God within me.

The power of God in me is constant and unchanging. As I connect with this inner power through prayer, my life is brought into perspective. As I pray, tension and uncertainty fall away. Strength and reassurance fill my heart and mind. I am successful and fulfilled. I achieve my goals and move forward with confidence. There are unlimited possibilities before me. Giving thanks for my prosperity, I welcome new expressions of abundance unfolding.

Renewal

My body is relaxed, my heart is at peace and my spirit is renewed.

Taking time to rest and relax is important to me physically, emotionally and spiritually. By giving my body the rest and attention it needs, I find peace and strength within.

As I relax my body, I also relax my mind, releasing negative thoughts or concerns. I feel a wave of peace rush over me. My spirit is renewed. I become more aware of the presence of God working in and through me, guiding me to new blessings and fulfillment.

I give thanks for my peaceful moments with God--moments when my body is relaxed and my mind is at peace. I know these moments are sacred. They renew me in mind, body and spirit.

Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me; for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.--Matthew 11:29

Faith

With God as my source, I am faith in action!

There are no limits to what I can accomplish or overcome when I focus on God as the source of all I need. Whatever challenge arises in my life or in the world, my faith in God sees me through.

God is the source of my strength, courage, vitality and peace of mind. And God is active in my life and in the world. I think of family, friends, acquaintances and all humanity, and I remember that God is the divine source of all they need as well. I release any concern into God's loving care, and I am grateful.

Remembering that God is our one true source changes me at depth and gives me the confidence to boldly affirm: "I am faith in action!" And in faith, I become an agent for positive change in the world.

So we are always confident; ... for we walk by faith, not by sight.--2 Corinthians 5:6, 7
