Happiness
Happiness is a state of heart and mind. It is mine to choose. When I rise each morning, I think positively. I begin my day with a smile on my face and a song in my heart that says "Thank You, God, for another perfect day."
I spread happiness in my interactions with others. Through a simple smile and a cheerful outlook, I lift the spirits of family and friends. I look on the light side of life, realizing that goodness and love can be found every moment of every day.
My heart and mind are open to the inspiration of God as the source of my love and enthusiasm for life. I live the peace and happiness God created me to experience.
Happy are those who live in your house, ever singing your praise.--Psalm 84:4

Integrity
I dedicate myself to do what I know to be right and good for all concerned. Standing centered in the integrity of Spirit, I express respect and honesty in my thoughts, words and actions. My intention to live a life of integrity goes before me, making straight my way. I go about my day and my life with Spirit as my moral compass, achieving my goals to the best of my ability.
Integrity clothes itself in many garments. It is called honesty, honor, virtue and knowing oneness with God. When I consistently light my candle of integrity, I extinguish the negativity and fear in my world. With each reliable, truthful choice, I am a blessing. I bring light into the world by living from the integrity of my Christ-center.
He walked with me in integrity and uprightness, and he turned many from iniquity.--Malachi 2:6

Prosperity
Abundance is mine, and I am so grateful for it! I see the abundance of God all around me--in the smiles of children, in the thoughtful gestures of people with whom I come in contact, and in the special gifts I give and receive.
This time of year, when I may feel depleted of time and resources, I make it a point to change my attitude. I know that all good things are readily available to me. I retain an attitude of gratitude for all I give and all I receive.
I embrace and enjoy this season with positivity, thankful for the many blessings it brings me and knowing that abundance is mine today and every day.
I am grateful to Christ Jesus our Lord, who has strengthened me, because he judged me faithful and appointed me to his service.--1 Timothy 1:12

Gift
Each morning there is a gift on my pillow, waiting to be unwrapped. As soon as I open my eyes I see it--a bright new day has dawned. The best thing about this gift is that I get to make it whatever I choose.
I begin with gratitude, giving thanks for my life, my breath and the possibilities of a new beginning. I go about my activities with enthusiasm, noticing love and beauty and laughter. If a conflict arises, I bring what I choose to the situation. I add compassion, forgiveness and understanding.
Filled with gratitude for the joy of being alive, I conclude my day with prayer and meditation. I close my eyes and I am restored by a night of peaceful rest.
This is the day that the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it.--Psalm 118:24

Tranquility
Just as I feel refreshed after a good night's sleep, I am rejuvenated during quiet times of reflection and communion with God. My time apart may be a quiet hour in a serene place or single moments focused on God in the midst of seeming chaos.
I turn inward to the place of peace that reveals God to me. I relax. With each moment of silence and with each calming breath, I am aware of the wholeness that I am. Cares slip away, and I am at peace.
In this season when winter nights grow longer and nature comes into its time of rest, I respond in kind. I relax into the renewing peace and calm of God. Tranquility is the blessing of my time apart, and I carry it with me through every moment of this day.
He said to them, "Come away to a deserted place all by yourselves and rest a while."--Mark 6:31

Abundance
I am grateful for the simple things in life--streets decorated with colored lights, the night sky ablaze with a thousand tiny stars. I am struck by the beauty that is mine to enjoy.
During a meal with friends, I notice the many ways I am nourished, body and soul. When the sun warms my face or I pull a coat around me against the cold wind, I feel enfolded in the love of God. Lending a helping hand to a stranger or sharing a word of encouragement with a child, I am reminded of all that I have to give.
I count my blessings for the small things, and I am grateful for the abundant good in my life. In large and small ways, I am blessed.
Joseph stored up grain in such abundance--like the sand of the sea--that he stopped measuring it; it was beyond measure.--Genesis 41:49

Pray for Others
When I pray, I see beyond any appearance of difficulty in the lives of my dear ones. I release any thoughts of doubt or worry and see them as God sees them: perfect expressions of Spirit. I see the radiant Christ of their beings. I affirm that the power of the Christ within each one is mighty to heal any condition because God's life within is perfect life. I know there is no decision, no choice, no concern that is greater than Divine Mind expressing in each individual as wisdom, right judgment and guidance. I see myself and each person I hold in prayer as open channels for the abundant flow of God's good as health, love and prosperity.
Then turning to the disciples, Jesus said to them privately, "Blessed are the eyes that see what you see!"--Luke 10:23

Harmony
If I've had a disagreement with another person, I can try a new approach to set things right. I pray and invite God's love to open my eyes, my ears and my heart to a deeper understanding of my relationships with others. I let love guide me to listen in nonjudgmental ways, allowing the lines of communication to open.
By looking at circumstances more thoughtfully, I find points of agreement with the people in my life. These commonalities help me interact with others in ways that promote kindness and compassion.
As I allow the love of God to permeate my thoughts and actions, harmony is established in my relationships.
Agree with one another, live in peace; and the God of love and peace will be with you.--2 Corinthians 13:11

Light
Gazing at the flame of a candle can be a relaxing practice leading into deep meditation and contemplation. The light of the candle reflects the light of Spirit within me and reminds me of the spiritual light that shines within everyone.
I trust the light of Spirit to show me the way whenever life becomes complex or confusing. I become still inside, and when I do, I grow in my awareness of the flame that burns within me as life energy.
The light of Spirit transforms the thoughts I hold in mind, the words I speak and the actions I take. Spirit's light allows me to see the light in others and in myself and respond to life in a whole new way.

Comfort
On a cool autumn evening I may enjoy the warmth and comfort of sitting by the fire or sipping a hot cup of tea. The comfort and care I give myself and others are ways in which the love of God is manifest in my life. In these peaceful moments, I understand that I am beloved of God.
To deepen my experience of peace and comfort, I turn within to the silence and immerse myself in God's love and protection. I relax into the divine Presence that is the source of my comfort and strength. I am blessed to know that the presence of God is with me at all times and in all situations.
Whenever I turn within, God's gentle whisper of assurance fills my soul with peace.

Inner Peace
While sitting alone in a quiet place, I enter into the silence for my daily time of meditation. I embrace the peace and serenity within me and around me. If there are noises or disturbances, I am not bothered. I visualize the presence of God within the space. I envision the light of God above me and below me, before me and behind me.
I see myself and those I love in the center of this light, in the midst of God's enfoldment, surrounded by everlasting peace. My body, mind and spirit are quiet and peaceful.
When I am ready, I go back to the activities of my day and carry with me the experience of inner peace by expressing peace and serenity in all I think, say and do.

One With God
What does it mean to be one with God? Is it a feeling in my heart? Is it an assurance deep within my soul? Perhaps it is an inner knowing that, regardless of appearances or circumstances, I am one with the peaceful, all-providing presence of God.
The word oneness implies a sense of belonging. I belong with God. I am one with the spirit of God, the Spirit that is forever guiding me, protecting me and strengthening me in mind and body. My oneness with God assures me that I am never alone. I am one with God day and night. Knowing that God is with me and within me, I feel safe and connected, healthy and whole, assured of peace in all situations.

Courage
Though I cannot control every circumstance in my life, I can choose my perception and response in every situation. My only challenge may be my own fear-based thoughts of lack and limitation. When I courageously decide to look at things differently, I realize I have all I need to overcome any seeming difficulty.
I affirm this truth: The presence and power of God are with me and within me always. In God, I have the qualities and resources, the strength and courage to take charge of my thoughts and my life. I claim and realize the good in every situation. Blessed with the power to choose how I show up in life, I am confident and courageous every day.

Free
Freedom is more than a condition that exists for me in the physical world. Freedom is the essence of my being. It moves from the spirit of God within me out into my life.
I am free to be all that I want to be. I am free to change and to grow. I am free to release any harmful habit I am ready to release, and to adopt any life-enhancing habit I am ready to adopt.
I am free to grow both spiritually and intellectually. I don't let time or circumstances stand in my way. God has set no limitations on me. Through the spirit of God within me, I have the freedom to be my best and do my best in accomplishing my heart's desire. I live in the truth that I am free!
I can do all things through him who strengthens me.--Philippians 4:13

Grace
Mistakes are a natural part of learning--just as falling down is a natural part of learning to walk. But when I make a serious mistake, I may find it hard to forgive myself for what I have said or done.
I cannot make amends if I remain stuck in a cycle of self-blame or criticism. Instead, I remember that God loves me unconditionally. I take responsibility for my actions, and with God's grace, I do my best to resolve the situation. This may require a heartfelt apology, a change in my behavior or another step. I trust God to guide me to the best response.
As I open to the grace of God, I am able to forgive myself and accept God's unconditional love.
Now I commend you to God and to the message of his grace, a message that is able to build you up.--Acts 20:32

Joy
Many different activities connect me to the joy that is deep within me. Being enveloped by the silence of a snowfall may fill me with quiet joy. Listening to a choir or joining in the singing of my favorite songs may lift my spirits.
The simple touch of a loved one's hand or the gentle support of a caregiver may lighten my heart. Lighting a candle, saying a prayer and blessing a meal can all be sources of joy in my day.
Whatever the activity, I realize joy when my mind is fixed on finding Spirit within each of my experiences. True and lasting joy comes from within--from God, the Source of every joy.
Clap your hands, all you peoples; shout to God with loud songs of joy.--Psalm 47:1

Healing Presence
Healing comes in many forms and in many ways. Some wounds heal quickly and visibly, like the physical healing of a scratch or a burn. Other wounds may take more time to heal. A broken heart, a troubled life or a dampened spirit requires a greater depth of healing--healing of my body, mind and soul.
Every need for healing is an invitation to turn within to God for guidance and direction. As I enter into the silence to meditate and pray, I connect with the Source of both my physical and spiritual healing. I am guided to the ways of strength and wholeness. I receive the most vital and lasting form of health: the healing of my soul.
For I will restore health to you, and your wounds I will heal.--Jeremiah 30:17

Today is the perfect day to appreciate the many blessings in my life. I pray a prayer of thanksgiving, expressing gratitude for each beloved friend and family member, each special tradition, each lovingly prepared plate of food.
Whether I am enjoying a Thanksgiving feast or a quiet meal, I stop for a moment to give thanks for my sustenance, for the opportunity to serve and for another day of health and well-being.
I give thanks for this day as a day of peace, a day of oneness, a day of celebration and a day of love. I am blessed beyond measure.

Protected
God is everywhere present--within me and those I hold dear. If I am concerned about something or someone, I release my concern and rest in the comforting presence of divine love and light. Letting tension fall away, I allow my faith to well up as the assurance of God's presence.
Placing my faith in the power of God, I am safe, secure and protected. I affirm this truth for my family, friends and community, for God is our indwelling power and protective shield. Confident and at peace, I am free to fully engage in the activities of this day and to sleep well as day becomes night, for I know the presence and power of God protect me and my loved ones.

Pass It On
What do a sincere compliment, a useful idea and a usable piece of furniture or household item have in common? They are each something of value I can share with others.
As I do, I make room in my life for more. My giving ripples outward. What I give continues to be passed on as a perpetual blessing of love from one person to another. We all participate in the stream of consciousness in which giving and receiving are a way of life. We share in the abundance of God available to every person, everywhere.
"Give, and it will be given to you." These words guide me in living and sharing an abundant life. Give, and it will be given to you.

Personal Best
My achievements and shortcomings are not tallied on a giant scorecard. But at times, I may become preoccupied with my personal goals and comparing myself to others. As I stop judging and start appreciating my efforts, the burden of incessant striving falls away.
When I see myself as God sees me, I am whole and perfect. I adopt this point of view, and I am released from the grip of my ego. I know that I am doing and being my best. By choosing to focus on all that is delightful, my life suddenly seems easier. I am moving forward rather than holding myself back. I am creating the life I desire, becoming more aware of my blessings and living in joy.

Attentive
Today I am attentive to the many ways I can be of service to others. I make time to visit a family member who has been ill or a friend who is grieving. I help a neighbor find a lost pet or attend to a child who needs a special moment of care or attention. I welcome opportunities to be of service, and I am rewarded with experiences that uplift me and others.
I tenderly offer my care, patiently give my time and thoughtfully demonstrate God's love by being attentive to the needs of others. As I serve, I receive even more. Seeing a smile returned fills me with appreciation. Any gift or attention I may have given to another blesses me abundantly in return.

Divine Order
Whether I find myself in a busy home or a thriving workplace, my environment may seem chaotic at times. If I feel stress building within me, I know my perspective needs adjusting. I take a deep breath and quiet my thoughts. As I become centered, I am able to see my experiences differently. I look at my life and the world around me with fresh eyes.
I see divine order at work in the system of life and activity that is flourishing around me. And I am divinely equipped to do what is mine to do. I have the time, talent and resources I need to contribute in meaningful ways. I am centered and calm, peaceful and poised, in the midst of this divine-order day.

Circulate
Honoring the circle of life on planet Earth, I make wise use of resources and protect the environment as part of my spiritual practice.
Like a loving mother, the Earth supports and sustains me. I return that love by reusing and recycling the materials I use. Through the small act of giving something I no longer need to someone who does, I circulate and share my abundance with others.
I hold the planet in prayer, affirming good for all creation and all humanity. I strengthen my affirmation with conscious acts of generosity and responsibility and contribute to the care of planet Earth.

Let Go, Let God
As I step out in faith to do something new and daring, I may feel like a skydiver moments before a jump. When I make the conscious choice to let go of my comfortable surroundings, I may experience a moment of fear. But like the skydiver, my fear is quickly replaced with exhilaration and excitement as I soar through the experience with complete trust. I let go of my fear. God is with me and all is well!
Letting go of fear is liberating. As I let go and trust God, I open the way for God's perfect expression within me and in all the circumstances of my life. I don't worry about the outcome, for I know that all is well. I know that God is in charge and that I am being divinely guided and blessed.

Seek and Find
There are times in my life when I am perfectly comfortable just where I am and others when I am seeking something more. If I am seeking, I need to ask myself what it is I hope to find. Is it greater peace and strength? Is it a change in my career or lifestyle? Do I seek a new skill, a greater challenge or an outlet for my creativity?
My seeking may be prompted by the gentle urging of Spirit to be the best that I can be. I trust Spirit now as I turn within in prayer. By seeking God first, I open myself to abundant blessings. I trust God, knowing I will find the resources, strength and confidence to be all I am meant to be. In God, I experience a life of greater joy, wisdom and prosperity.

Contribution
God's love expresses through me to bless others. I perceive the people with whom I interact as the children of God they truly are. I look for opportunities to be of help, to appreciate and to make a positive contribution.
I find many opportunities to give from my heart. I extend a wave and a warm smile to a neighbor, call or e-mail a friend or relative, or give time and attention to someone in need.
I look beyond the outer persona of those who seem unfriendly or impolite and behold their true essence. For all those I meet or think of today, I say a silent blessing: I behold the Christ in you. I visualize you whole, happy, prosperous and peaceful.

In the Flow
Today I claim my divine birthright. I am a child of God, immersed in the energy of light, love and joy. Regardless of any outer appearances, I know that all things are working together for my highest good. I have faith that divine love supports and sustains me in all circumstances. As I relax and accept my blessings, I freely move toward even greater good.
I have faith in God's great love for me. In deepest gratitude, I realize that God's love is unconditional, freely given and freely experienced. Love spills over into all areas of my life. What a joy it is to live in the divine flow of life and love! Let anyone who is thirsty come to me, and let the one who believes in me drink.

Just as energy moves the waves and wind lifts the birds, this joy radiates throughout my being, filling me with energy and enthusiasm for life.
I find joy in simple things like spending time with a friend or enjoying the beauty of nature. I am aware of the simple, joy-filled moments and collect them as treasures. Joy shapes my thoughts and flows out into my conversations and actions.

Grace
The familiar phrase "Nobody's perfect!" may help me accept a human failing or setback and keep it in perspective. But in Truth, through grace, the correct phrase is actually "Everybody's perfect!"
There is a part of each and every creation that is perfect--the Christ presence within. This divine aspect of my being is ever- present. Before any activity or decision, and especially if I don't feel up to the task at hand, I turn within and call upon my inner strength and divine perfection.
The power and presence of the Christ within is always available to help me gracefully move through life. While it may seem at times that "nobody's perfect," all is perfect through the grace of God.

A Way
In "The Prayer of Faith," Hannah More Kohaus begins: "God is my help in every need. God does my every hunger feed. God walks beside me, guides my way, through every moment of the day."
With God, there is always a way to meet life's challenges, to rise above what appear to be limiting circumstances. There is always a way to restore wholeness and peace of mind, to experience joy and to grow in spiritual understanding. God is the loving, all- providing presence within me, the unwavering principle of truth and love.
God brings forth the good in any situation. I turn within to God in prayer with faith and expectancy, knowing there is a way through any shadow into the light.

As I use my gifts to touch the lives of others, I am even more blessed in return. Giving from the abundance that comes my way, I am assured that by sharing, I open to even greater prosperity and fulfillment.

World Peace
With every loving thought we hold, every kind word we express, we contribute to a world at peace. Each of us has the power to love and the ability to be patient and forgiving, no matter what is happening. Even in the appearance of turmoil and trouble, we can affirm: Peace, be still. We can still troubled waters with the power of our love.
As we go about our day, we express compassion wherever possible. As we pray, we see the divine good in our loved ones and we inspire others. Centered in the divine nature of our being and the oneness that we are, we are powerful. Our smallest acts combine with the actions of others to create a world at peace, a world that works for all.

There may be occasions in my life and in the lives of others when events make absolutely no sense to me. The loss of a job, an encounter with a serious illness, or some other aspect of my life may tempt me to cry out, "Why, God?"
In every instance, God has already established a divine plan that will carry me through to the other side of any challenge I may experience.
My mission is simply to seek out the good that lies at the heart of any adversity. God knows my right and perfect opportunity for employment, partnership, health and wholeness. My life is in the care of God, and I trust in divine order.

Gratitude
I am grateful for the people and experiences in my life.
When I consider the many people who have helped me in my life, I am deeply grateful. Family, friends, teachers and colleagues--each has taught me something about life and myself.
I consider the profound blessing of these people and the difference they have made for me. I open my heart to a simple prayer of gratitude by speaking their names or visualizing their faces. I bless each one.
Next I turn to look at the events of my life and bless each situation for the lessons learned and the wisdom gained.
I am grateful for love given and received and for the rich experiences of this life's journey.

At Home
If my life's journey calls for a move to a new location, it's comforting to know that God is always with me and within me. Though I may miss familiar people and places, I'm happy to meet new friends and explore new surroundings.
Wherever I go, I make myself at home by sharing the love in my heart. I am encouraged as I look for the best in every person and situation. I have faith that whatever I seek, I will find.
All things work together for my highest good. Even though I may be far from my former home, I relax and affirm that all is well right here and now. No matter where a relocation takes me, home is with me in my heart.

Yes or No
Feelings of indecision or uncertainty may have stopped me in my tracks in the past. Now I see such times as opportunities to draw from inner resources to make the decisions that are right for me.
Setting an intention to open my mind to the gentle nudges of Spirit, I pause for a quiet moment of prayer. Through communion with God, I receive the guidance to say yes or no to the opportunities that come my way.
At times I will confidently say "yes!" to a richer, fuller experience of life. In other situations, I will confidently say "no" to circumstances that do not lead to my highest good.
With God's constant guidance, I am filled with assurance that whether my word is yes or no, I am taking the right action.

Healing
I am renewed. Divine energy flows in and through God's creations, renewing, restoring, uplifting. I see this energy in the exuberance of a child, in the beauty of a flower blossom and in the vibrant display of autumn's colors. I feel it in the warmth of the sun's rays, the freshness of a gentle breeze.
As I align my thoughts with life and wholeness, I feel divine energy in my own body as well. I am in the flow of life-giving energy, and it is in me. I praise my body and give thanks for its efficient and reliable functioning. It is God's beautiful expression of life. The divine energy that flows through all of creation flows through me. I am renewed in mind, body and spirit. Thank You, God.

Momentum
Many worthwhile endeavors are not completed quickly, but rather take time. I know that each experience I have builds on something I have learned or experienced in the past. It's as though I'm building a life brick by brick.
The decisions I make and the lessons I learn may seem to result in only small steps forward. But with each one, I build momentum toward the accomplishment of my goals.
Whether I'm following an exercise program, learning a new skill or developing a savings plan, the creation process is a spiritual one. I rely on God for help, support and guidance. I trust the creative process, knowing that I have the strength, will and energy I need to succeed.

One Power
I begin my day by affirming, "There is only one power in my life and in the universe, God the good." This affirmation helps me keep my focus on God and see God active in my life.
There may be times when people or conditions seem to have a certain power over me. But I remind myself that things only have the power I give them. Releasing any belief in the power of anyone or anything to take away my good, I return to my morning affirmation. There is only ONE power in my life and in those around me--and that power is God.
Centered in divine power, I am at peace. If there is an action I am to take to help restore my health, prosperity or harmony, I am receptive to the guidance and wisdom of the One Power, God the good.

Protected
Feelings of insecurity may creep up on me from time to time. If so, I take a moment to observe the thoughts behind my feelings. Rather than dwell on what might go wrong, I choose to focus on God's powerful, protecting presence within and around me.
With each slow, deep breath, I am filled with peace. God is greater than my fears, and I am God's beloved. I call upon divine strength and feel my strength increasing.
In any situation, God is mighty in the midst of me, lifting my spirits and calming my mind. God is my source, my strength and my shield. I am grateful for a peaceful heart, as I know I am always safe in God's presence.

Forgive
Forgiveness is an act of love. As I forgive, I release negative energy that may manifest as resentment or anger. I open the way for something positive to happen. If I feel wronged or annoyed, I release the impulse to judge. The lines of communication remain open, and understanding flows freely. Relationships with family, friends and colleagues flourish when I act with compassion and easily forgive. I relate to others in harmonious ways.
I exercise the same forgiving attitude toward myself. If I have erred, I learn from it and move on. I draw from the reservoir of God's love within me to give and receive forgiveness.

Let Go, Let God
I have journeyed to a crossroads of opportunity. This is a place for me to pause and reflect upon the road I have been travelling and the choice that lies ahead.
I imagine that I have just walked through the desert and have now reached an oasis with refreshing water, a cool breeze and a hammock tied between two shade-giving trees. I have reached a welcome refuge.
I experience this kind of an oasis as I let go of personal striving--trying to do it all myself--and let God guide me. A sense of calm washes over me as I release my concerns and trust that God will show me the way.
I pause, I listen and I discern the guidance I have been seeking. Following the guidance I receive leads me to my greater good.

Hope
A dark cloud in the sky can seem ominous, but no cloud can stop the sun from shining. Above the clouds, the sun shines as brightly as ever.
Regardless of any shadow clouding my day, the love of God within is ever present, always shining, blessing me with guidance, inspiration and hope.
At any time, I may reconnect with the infinite love of God within. I center myself in meditation and prayer, and the light of wisdom and understanding grows. Nothing in the outer world is beyond the power of God's love to transform.

Divine Love
Any activity or task can be sacred. Rather than acting absentmindedly, I stay present to the task at hand, and I do it with love.
Whether I'm completing a routine chore or spending time with someone dear, I infuse my words and actions with love. Routine activities are thereby transformed into sacred and meaningful expressions of God.
I focus my attention on one activity at a time, letting God's love move through me as I complete the task. I am thoughtful, centered and at peace.
I approach all activities today from a place of love, feeling and expressing the peace of God.

Healing
When I look in the mirror, am I able to see my body as a beautiful, unique, divine creation? Or am I only noticing what I perceive as flaws? If I focus on a problem or illness, I lose sight of the divine energy within each cell of my body. This innate power can transform any apparent challenge into an experience of radiant health and wholeness.
I accelerate the healing process by visualizing each part of my body functioning perfectly. I see divine energy bringing wholeness to every cell. I transcend any limitation as I hold to the truth of my being--I am a whole and holy being, an expression of divine perfection.

Harmony
A summer bouquet may include an assortment of flowers in a rainbow of colors. The variety makes the whole bouquet even more beautiful.
I realize I am one flower in the wondrous bouquet of humanity. Without judging or comparing myself to others, I enjoy the unique beauty in all of us. I am a divine expression of God and so is everyone else. As I value our commonalities and our differences, I experience harmony.
I relax into knowing that I am loved and that I have a unique contribution to make. As I learn to love myself, I am at peace--with myself and others. Living in peace, I am in harmony with God's beautiful world.

Comfort
Every day I am reminded that things of the world are temporary, but things of the Spirit are eternal. The Earth has changed over the eons, but God is unchanging. God is Life, the essence of life in all. God is Love, encompassing all the love that has ever been.
Turning within I find the constant, eternal love of God is my constant comfort. No matter what happens in the external world, within my heart is a place of peace, untouched. I close my eyes, take a deep cleansing breath and become aware of this quiet place. No matter where I am or what is happening around me, I am comforted by the One Love that is always here.

Something New
When I feel challenged by a situation, I look upon it as an opportunity to move beyond old ways of thinking. I dare to try something new.
Before I move ahead, I prepare myself in prayer. Prayer is the foundation for right action. Rather than taking hasty action, I pray my way to a divine solution.
In the stillness, I share my concerns with God. Then I release them. I spend some time here in the silence where I am open to receive guidance and direction on the next steps to take. Now I am ready to move forward with clarity, confidence and courage.
With God's help, I welcome the opportunity to experience life in a new way.

Inner Peace
A sleeping infant is a picture of peace, a precious creation of God. We are all God's precious creations, designed with unlimited capacity to express peace.
In a difficult or unsettling time, I may become distracted, forgetting who I really am. If I am focused on worries or anxious about tomorrow, I may feel restless and uneasy.
Yet the indwelling peace of God has not left me. In a moment of prayer or meditation, I may return to my true nature. As I turn to the spirit of God within, I rediscover my inner strength and my innate center of peace.
As an expression of God, I find that I can be calm, serene and secure in every circumstance. I am one with infinite peace.

Quiet Time
Like plants that need sunshine and nutrients to flourish, I, too, need to replenish my mind, body and spirit. If my energy seems to fade or a healing challenge arises, I welcome the opportunity for physical and spiritual renewal.
In quiet time, I acknowledge God as the source of healing life. As I relax, my connection with the spirit of God within grows stronger. I visualize my cells and tissues expressing new energy and my entire being revitalized.
I come away from this time of reflection refreshed, giving thanks for the renewal of my mind, body and spirit.

Prosperity
The biblical land flowing with milk and honey represents spiritual abundance and freedom. It portrays a life overflowing with blessings, a life full of divine potential.
The truth is that I am living in a "land flowing with milk and honey" right here and right now. There is a constant flow of good in my life. My prosperity includes the assurance that wholeness, wisdom and strength are mine. Knowing this, I am bold in spirit. I am aware of my own divine potential for living the life of my dreams.
I accept the abundance of God that is always flowing to me and through me. I give and receive joyously and gratefully.

Create Space
If I buy books but never take time to read them, my bookcase will soon be full. But if I read them, I have the pleasure of exploring other worlds, learning about the inspiring lives of real people, and enjoying the imaginary characters found within the pages. Then, as I pass these books along, I make room in my bookcase for new ones.
I also create space in my inner life. Clearing away the clutter in my thoughts and in my schedule, I make space for new ideas and new opportunities.
Do I want a new career or interesting hobby, a friend or companion, a degree or a vocation? I make space for whatever enriches my thoughts, my faith, and my heart.

Use Me
The line from the Lord's Prayer, "Give us this day our daily bread," can refer to food for the body. It can also mean food for the soul or nourishment for the spirit, the living bread of which Jesus spoke.
We all want life to mean more than just material comforts. We want to feel needed. We want to feel we are making a special contribution to the world. We can do this as we express the God-powers and qualities within us.
A simple prayer such as "Here I am, Lord. Use me" can negate any thought or feeling that our lives lack purpose. We are needed, important, and necessary to God and to fellow human beings.

Live!
I live my life wisely and genuinely--always with the intention of contributing something of value.
Thankful for life, I take care of my mind and body and make wise choices. I eat a balanced diet, exercise regularly, and engage in a variety of healthful activities. I maintain a balance of work and play, rest and action.
Mindful of my spiritual health, I center my thoughts in God. I stay true to myself and honest with others.
Seeking goodness in all, I live life authentically and with integrity. This intentional way of living enables me to fully express the Christ within.
I embrace all of life and reach out in joy to help others.

Celebrate
Whether or not today is my birthday, it can be my rebirth day. This is true because 98 per cent of the atoms of my body are replaced yearly. I am a new person from the one I was last year. I may celebrate the renewing of my body by saying, "Happy Birthday!"
There is also a renewing of my soul that is constantly taking place. Just as my body is growing stronger, so, too, is my faith. I am being renewed in body and soul.
As I express the Christ Spirit within, I become a new person. Christ in me is wisdom, life, and love. This can be my birthday or my rebirth day. Either way, I name and claim the joy that is mine.

Let Go, Let God
At times I may need to repeat an affirmation several times before it takes hold in mind and heart. For instance, I may have been carrying a heavy burden for days or weeks, and finally I understand: I've been trying to do this all on my own. I stop struggling and affirm: I let go and let God. I repeat this affirmation until I release all to God.
The One Power and Presence never lets me down. I release any worry or struggle and accept the comfort, inspiration, and abundance of God. I receive all that I need, and more.
I release, accept, and receive. With ease and grace, the gifts of God flow to me and through me to accomplish good.

Kindness
My true nature is to express love and understanding toward others. This is the spirit of God within me, expressing as compassionate words and kind deeds.
Much of what I do in life may not seem significant, yet even with the simplest act, I am an ambassador of God. Knowing this, I expand my willingness to love and care. In my interactions, I choose kindness; in my thoughts, acceptance; in my heart, compassion.
Yes, I am kind and loving at home, at work, and in my community. And the spirit of God within me inspires me to love and to serve in even greater ways, making a difference in my world.

Three Steps
In any situation, I can take three simple steps to see my way through: Pray, listen, and act.
Prayer attunes me to God. It quiets my mind, stills my emotions, and prepares me to receive direction. Prayer turns me temporarily away from the conditions that concern me so I am open to ideas for solving them.
During prayer I pause, ready to hear or to sense from within my answer. Listening to God means waiting for the right ideas to illumine my mind. Intuitively sensing a course of action and accepting it readies me for the kind of action that cannot fail to bless and prosper me.

Joy
Life is fuller, richer, and more fun when I approach each day from the joy in my heart. The people I know and love bring me joy, but I can also choose to manifest happiness on my own.
My favorite pastime may be hiking in nature or strolling through city shops and streets. I may find one activity more enjoyable than the other, but I can still find joy in both. Even if I am doing mundane tasks--no matter what I choose to do--the joy I create comes from within.
So whether I'm at dinner with friends or stuck in traffic, I remember happiness is an inside job. As I appreciate everything in life, I am joy in expression!

Prayer
How do I achieve a spiritually centered life? I pray.
When I spend time in prayer, I gain a deeper understanding of my true nature. My potential for a richer, fuller life is revealed to me.
Through communion with God I become attuned to the divine presence and power within me. I am strengthened and guided to do what is mine to do.
Prayer immerses me in the love of God and opens my heart to meaningful relationships. Prayer brings me new insight so that I more fully express the love within me.
My life is enriched through the power of prayer, which gives me strength, wisdom, and enthusiasm.

Simplicity
Hearing the gentle patter of raindrops on a windowpane, enjoying a conversation with a friend, joining in laughter with loved ones--what blessings these are! Such simple pleasures are but a few of the abundant gifts from God that enrich my life's experience.
Gratitude invites even more good into my life. I thank God for the blessings of reaching a goal, sharing a friendship, seeing a sunrise. I feel deep appreciation for the simple things in life.
I acknowledge my blessings one by one. As I do, I open my awareness to the goodness of God all around me. Truly, I am blessed beyond measure.

Imagination
One way I pray is to use my imagination to envision good. I imagine and affirm the highest and best for all people and for all of life.
I realize that the highest good is beyond description or definition. However, I can imagine hearing good news from people around the world--news of peace where there had been conflict, healing where there had been pain, prosperity where there had been seeming lack.
I imagine people treating one another with respect and love. I imagine the fullness of life and abundance for all. I picture all forms of life on earth coexisting in balance and order. The good I imagine is becoming reality.

Forgive
If ever I am disheartened by my own missteps or careless words, I renew myself emotionally and spiritually through prayer. Opening to God's grace, I affirm: God loves me unconditionally.
The more loving and gentle I am with myself, the more I am loving and gentle toward others. As I understand myself at a deeper level, I am more compassionate. Each day, I am given countless opportunities to gain wisdom, to share compassion, and to convey acceptance. And I do.
With a fresh and positive outlook, it is easier for me to extend forgiveness to myself and others. I accept God's love and know that I am whole and worthy just as I am.

Right Time
What can I do when I feel frustrated that something I want to happen is delayed or shows no sign of coming about? I take time for prayer.
Prayer is my quiet time, the time when I relax, breathe deeply, and open myself to divine inspiration. Through prayer, I prepare myself to be divinely guided in all ways.
If at any time during the day or night I begin to feel anxious or concerned, I take a God-moment and pray. As I do, I become peaceful and calm. Right now, in this moment, my attention is on what is true for me at all times: I am one with God.
Although the answer to my prayer may not be apparent right now, my faith assures me that it will become clear to me.

God in Me
In order to grow in spiritual understanding, I must first realize that I have the capacity for it. I am a manifestation of God, and in God's likeness, I am all-wise and all-knowing.
To believe in the presence of God as Divine Mind in me is to identify myself with all light and knowledge.
Beginning today, I rise out of the belief that by nature I am limited in understanding. At all times, I think of myself as capable of knowing all truth. I learn to rely upon the light of God within to make clear whatever I desire to know.

Grace

Closing my eyes, I become quiet, calm, and conscious of God's presence within me. I let this sacred awareness expand so I am enfolded in the Holy Presence.
My faith does not waver because the grace of God does not waver. Regardless of what I may experience, as I continue to acknowledge the presence of God, grace sees me through. The unconditional love of God is actively blessing me at all times and in all places. With full comprehension and appreciation, I accept the blessing of grace.

Healing
Saying yes to life and yes to healing, I claim health and wholeness now. As I keep my thoughts about my total well-being held high, I continue to affirm life.
Knowing that the spirit of God permeates every organ, cell, and atom of my body, I hold a vision of myself as energetic and strong. I am aware that the healing presence of God is moving throughout my body; and because this is true, I am healthy and whole.
Being health-minded, I continually turn in thought and expectation to the perfect, free-flowing life of Spirit within me. I give thanks for the awareness of this healing presence, which uplifts me in every way.
I know that God is life. Divine power and presence are within me, and with God all good is possible.

How Am I?
Incidents of talking to oneself are often the subjects of humorous stories. However, as I confirm in meditation where I am in my life plan, I ask myself, How am I? I run through my checklist: Are my plans God-inspired? Do I feel deep in my soul that my choices are right for me? Paying attention to what brings me joy can reveal volumes about my right actions and perfect calling. Supportive affirmations keep me focused:
I am making progress toward my God-inspired goals each day.
I choose divinely guided steps to pursue my perfect calling.
I claim a fulfilling life for myself at home, at work, and in my community.
My words and actions make a difference.
How am I? More than fine! I am blessed!
"Therefore, brothers and sisters, be all the more eager to confirm your call and election, for if you do this, you will never stumble."--2 Peter 1:10

Free
I am free! Within this new day, I find a release from every old pattern, thought, or behavior that no longer serves me.
As a creation of a loving Creator, I welcome new beginnings, which are new chapters in my own story of life. My faith in God's ever-present guidance is constant. And I go forward confident in my insights, my choices, and my actions.
Divine guidance provides me with the motivation to give expression to the divine qualities within me. With love and respect, I make decisions about my own life and the lives of those in my care. Goodness abounds, and I celebrate my freedom to begin anew.
"You must make every effort to support your faith with goodness, and goodness with knowledge, and knowledge with self-control, and self-control with endurance, and endurance with godliness, and godliness with mutual affection, and mutual affection with love."--2 Peter 1:5-7

Let Go, Let God
I wouldn't get far driving a car while the emergency brake was on. Neither would I reach my goals or dreams if I didn't release the brakes on them.
I choose to move forward with my goals and dreams, releasing any belief in poverty or powerlessness that might be adversely affecting my thoughts, words, and actions.
If my desire is to improve my health, I let go of any doubt that I can be completely healthy. Wholeness is my divine heritage.
Rather than straining for results, I let God transform my understanding so that I move forward in a life of freedom, health, and prosperity. As I release and make room for my highest good, I am able to fully appreciate and experience life.
"Build up, build up, prepare the way, remove every obstruction from my people's way." --Isaiah 57:14

More
I may have felt an inner urging for something more in life but had not been able to identify what that "more" was until now. I have discovered that it is a calling from within to experience the presence of God more fully.
I am both physical and spiritual. Knowing this, I do not look to the outer world for the satisfaction of my soul. God alone satisfies my soul, and when I fill my consciousness with an awareness of God, I know that I am whole and complete.
I am fulfilled through my daily communion with God. I am not a person who is wanting or needy. I am not beseeching or demanding. All-power is at work within me and through me--a wonder to behold. God is my wisdom and my strength, and I am capable of doing more and being more in every moment.
"Now to him who by the power at work within us is able to accomplish abundantly far more than all we can ask or imagine."--Ephesians 3:20

New Me
There may be times when even the thought of starting over exhausts me. Having to reinvent myself can leave me feeling overwhelmed.
However, with my thoughts focused on being the new me now, I avoid pulling up negative images of the past. I realize I do have a foundation to build my future on.
There are certain life events that could launch a new vision for me. I don't need to wait for a particular time or experience to begin a new venture. I can be the new me at any time.
I begin now to create with fresh innovation and to revise or reframe my goals, values, and intentions. With God, I am guided to live in the present moment as a spiritual being expressing divine qualities. I celebrate my transformation to the new me!

Inner Peace
If concern and doubt seem to be getting in the way of my realizing peace of mind and heart, I enter into a time of silence and reconnect to the peace of God within me.
I begin by repeating a scripture: "Be still, and know that I am God." I am still, tuning out all sights and sounds in the outer. I take a deep breath and affirm: Trusting in You, God, I am at peace.
I stay with this thought, allowing peace to rise to my heart center. I then immerse my thoughts in peace. Mind and heart, body and emotions all align in peace. I experience a peace that is more powerful than any challenge or concern.
Inner peace is from God and is eternally within me and blessing me.
"Trust in the Lord forever, for in the Lord God you have an everlasting rock."--Isaiah 26:4

With this faith-inspired understanding, I live life with a whole new meaning. I am willing to do whatever Spirit directs me to do, and I do it with enthusiasm.
God is the life that invigorates and animates me.
God is wisdom that reveals the wonder of the simple and the complex concerning all aspects of daily living.
God is peace that restores my soul so that I can live fully in each moment--not in the past or the future.
God is all. There is nothing lacking in me because God created me with a pattern of perfection within.

Grace - Today's Daily Word
When I spend a few moments reflecting on God's amazing grace, I am filled with joy. Grace is divine love given to me in any and all circumstances, now and forever. Grace assures me that I am always in God's presence.
I rejoice in the knowledge that I am a child of God. I am therefore loved unconditionally. Knowing this gives me strength even in the most difficult of times.
Perhaps I experienced a time in my life when I prayed for guidance for myself and a friend or family member because we needed direction on life's curving pathways. As we aligned ourselves with the truth of God's grace, all things were possible for us.
How blessed I am by amazing grace, flowing within, from, and around me each and every moment of my life.
"Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ."--1 Corinthians 1:3

Commitment - Today's Daily Word
To demonstrate my desire for increased energy, vitality, and strength, I make a commitment to think and act in life-affirming ways. Knowing my body to be a temple of God, I care for it as I would a sacred creation, for indeed it is.
With awareness of my spiritual nature, I make choices--choices that promote renewal and restoration of my mind and body. I choose foods that promote health, and I keep my body moving with activities that are fun and enlivening.
I exercise my faith with the understanding that I am energized by the spirit of God--my wellspring of health and wholeness. My choices are affirmations of life.
I choose life and experience the benefits of a healthy mind, expressing through a healthy body.

Spiritually Centered - Today's Daily Word
I may feel complete in heart and mind as I reflect upon my past. However, Spirit within encourages me to look forward.
Spiritually centered, I do not base my expectations upon the past--what happened, who I was with, what I did or said. Memories can provide inspiration or insight, but I do not allow them to restrict me.
In prayerful meditation, I receive new revelations of divine inspiration. I see past old limitations. I recognize that I have resources, strength, and insight. My comprehension expands beyond what I would have usually considered.
Infused with new ideas and energy, I am spiritually centered. Aligned with Spirit, I follow through on a divine plan.
"I am about to do a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it?"--Isaiah 43:19

Free - Today's Daily Word
My physical freedom is precious to me. I treasure the ability to come and go as I please and never want to take it for granted.
Spiritual freedom is of even more importance to me. My mind is free to plan and dream without limits. And anything that I can dream, I can accomplish. God within is my inspiration to set goals and my wisdom to reach them.
I help others exercise their freedom by encouraging them to succeed and even surpass what they believe to be possible. The freedom of Spirit within each of us gives us the power to be and to do.
As I behold the Christ Spirit within myself and others, I see the unlimited potential within us and the absolute freedom that is inherent in our godlikeness.
"For freedom Christ has set us free. Stand firm, therefore, and do not submit again to a yoke of slavery."--Galatians 5:1

Inner Peace - Today's Daily Word
At times I may feel that I'm becoming overwhelmed as I carry out the responsibilities and tasks that are expected of me. Circumstances may spiral out of control. Unexpected news may stoke fearful feelings. Then what do I do?
Becoming still, taking a deep breath, I remember the words of a century-old hymn: "It is well with my soul." I spend a few moments in prayer knowing that all is well in spirit and in truth.
When I want to remove myself from a negative situation, I may take a walk, which energizes my mind and body. My thoughts become clear for positive decision-making and healthy choices.
I relax and release all to the divine order that is perpetually moving in my life. Peace fills my soul.
"Be still, and know that I am God!"--Psalm 46:10

Guidance - Today's Daily Word
Holding a crystal bowl up to a light, I turn it to examine the design of its precise cuts. I see the countless intricate angles of its facets. Continuing to turn the bowl, I allow light to shine through those facets at angles that create prisms of color.
I can explore solutions to problems in the same way. As I hold each one up to the light of God, I see beauty in the opportunity and variety it presents. Continuing to examine the situation from the wisdom of God within me, I receive fresh, new perspectives.
I receive insight in prayer or meditation or as a thought that suddenly comes to me during a busy day. Rising to new heights of understanding, I act on divine wisdom that blesses me in making right decisions.
"Then the angel showed me the river of the water of life, bright as crystal, flowing from the throne of God and of the Lamb through the middle of the street."--Revelation 22:1

Starting Over - Today's Daily Word
One change in my life may initiate nothing more than me making simple modifications. Another change may lead to an incredible transformation for me.
It's those life-changing events that may cause me to feel as if I'm starting over. And that is okay, because a new start holds the promise of my greater good. I consider each day a golden opportunity for me to have a fresh outlook on my world.
I may be going out on my own or coming together with others in a new family. I may be starting a career or making a career change. No matter what the situation or timing of it, God is my constant companion, and with God, I am always making progress.
"All of us, with unveiled faces, seeing the glory of the Lord as though reflected in a mirror, are being transformed into the same image from one degree of glory to another; for this comes from the Lord, the Spirit."--2 Corinthians 3:18

Open Spaces - Today's Daily Word
As I reflect upon the flow of good, constant in my life, I picture streams of water rushing into a sand castle moat. The trench fills quickly as liquid curls past turrets, beneath bridges--in, around, and under.
Much like this flow of water, wherever I have room--in drawers, schedules, living areas--objects or projects can collect and fill space. Knowing this, I keep my spaces open to make room for the flow of God's good that is always available to me. I de-clutter areas at work and home, within vehicles and lockers.
As I prepare for each new experience, my mind is open to insight and my heart, to understanding. I am blessed in every facet of life. Limitless substance is my heritage. I release and clear the way for blessings of energy, time, and substance.
"Thank You, God!"
"Now the Lord has made room for us, and we shall be fruitful in the land."--Genesis 26:22

Let Go, Let God - Today's Daily Word
Letting go and letting God requires trust on my part. I trust because, in my heart of hearts, I am assured that God is all-powerful and everywhere present.
There is always a plan of divine order active in my life. Yet when I cannot perceive how the pieces of life fit together, I may need to remind myself that there are divine answers to this puzzlement that I may not have even imagined.
I liken this trust to seeing a ship sailing toward the horizon. As it sails out of view, I let go of its image but know that it still exists and continues to sail on.
Although I may navigate through some rough waters in life, I trust God to guide me. I let go of the need to know all the details of a solution, knowing that God is ever present.
"In God, whose word I praise ... in God I trust; I am not afraid."--Psalm 56:10-11

Mentor - Today's Daily Word
I have been blessed with teachers, counselors, and coaches who influenced my progress in meaningful ways. They offered me wisdom and knowledge gained through experience and education. At times I may have been unsure of myself or my choices, but they bolstered my confidence by pointing out my strengths and abilities. They guided me, helping me to find my own way.
Now as I offer a helping hand to young people, I accept the role of mentor as a sacred responsibility. I am patient and generous as I encourage them to stretch beyond any perceived limitations to realize their own self-worth and strengths. I challenge them to learn and to grow. I hold a vision of them excelling in life, and I take joy in seeing them reach their success.
"Give instruction to the wise, and they will become wiser still."--Proverbs 9:9

Joy - Today's Daily Word
During a challenging time, I may let the adverse influence of circumstances that are beyond my control cause me to feel down. Thank goodness, I bring myself back up by knowing and affirming that the source of my joy is within me.
Whenever I notice that my focus has gotten off center, I turn my thoughts to the indwelling Christ Spirit. The moment I do, I feel my spirits lift. Joy stirs within me to warm my heart and transform my thoughts with peace and inspiration.
The Christ Spirit within makes my joy complete. There is joy in letting the Christ Light shine through me as love and optimism, as truth and understanding. Knowing that my joy cannot be taken from me, I am empowered to live life fully and completely.
"You show me the path of life. In your presence there is fullness of joy."--Psalm 16:11

Faith - Today's Daily Word
I take a time of silence now. I exhale, close my eyes, and imagine myself in a peaceful setting--one of my choosing that is pleasant and relaxing. In the stillness, I share these thoughts in prayer.
"God, I have faith in You. In every place, in every experience, in every decision, in every circumstance, You are present.
"As surely as I know that morning comes after night, I know that You are the one power and presence. And You are the one source of all wisdom and understanding.
"When, of myself, I cannot see a way for peace or prosperity or healing, I know You show me the highest and best way. You are guidance, wisdom, and strength. In the quiet, I give thanks that whether there is consistency or change, You are the unshakable creator, the foundation of all life."
"He came as a witness to testify to the light, so that all might believe through him."--John 1:7

Complete - Today's Daily Word
I appreciate that there are wonders of nature that satisfy my senses so completely. For instance, the sweet aroma of the lilac bush greets me even before I come near it. Lavender-blue clusters invite me to take a closer look and touch the velvety soft blossoms, which are a beauty that I know will last for only a short time.
It is prayer, however, that offers me a completeness that moves me past what my senses offer me. In prayer I am fully in the presence of God. I sense the Holy Presence within and around me with every fiber of my being. I feel the sacredness of my oneness with God and all creation.
I understand that in God I am complete--spirit, mind, and body. I am a whole and holy being. I continue to be blessed by this awareness as I keep it active throughout the day.
"While we, for our part, will devote ourselves to prayer and to serving the word."--Acts 6:4

Inner Peace - Today's Daily Word
Sitting beside a clear stream, I relax and watch as a slender fish faces the oncoming current head-on. Instead of struggling against the rushing water, the fish remains peaceful and calm, allowing the current to run past its body. Barely moving, it has become one with the stream.
This simple observation is a message of peace for me. I realize that I can escape the rush of daily activity. I become still and feel the quieting effects as serenity flows from the depths of my soul. Immersed in peace, I am one with God and experience a tranquility that restores me. Relaxing further into the presence of God, I am both recharged and refreshed.
I can reexperience this sacred moment at any time. Centered in the peace of God within my soul, I am calm and serene.
"Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you."--John 14:27

Comfort - Today's Daily Word
Some words of wisdom become so commonplace that the depth of truth they offer may be overlooked. Yet when I feel as if I'm in the midst of challenge, I find that expressions such as "This too shall pass" and "Every cloud has a silver lining" comfort me.
Troubles of the world are not permanent, but God's love is constant. It may appear that no good could come from present difficulties. In truth, however, I know that any difficulty can only temporarily obscure my view of good. Clouds cannot extinguish the sun. Its light continues to shine.
God's love never ceases to shine either. Divine love shows me that good awaits me--the goodness all around. I am comforted by the love of God.
"It is you who light my lamp; the Lord, my God, lights up my darkness."--Psalm 18:28

Prosperity - Today's Daily Word
I am abundantly blessed by the activity and beauty of my world. The sun rises and shines through my windows. Birds greet me with a joyous morning song. Rain falls, rainbows appear, flowers bloom, and a full moon glows in the night. All are expressions of the substance of Spirit, and I accept each one with gratitude.
When my life takes an unexpected turn, however, I may temporarily lose sight of the wonders around me. I always come back to the realization that God is all good all the time. Then I look at circumstances with new understanding and an appreciation for the unlimited goodness of God.
This divine goodness blesses my relationships, my finances, my employment, and fills every aspect of my life.
"For surely I know the plans I have for you, says the Lord, plans for your welfare and not for harm, to give you a future with hope."--Jeremiah 29:11

Thank You - Today's Daily Word
Today I may greet someone special with this personal message of appreciation.
Thank you for your dedication to assisting others in matters large and small. You act on an intuition that leads you in being the greatest help to others.
You serve in many ways and by a variety of means, applying your own insight to the needs of others. Foreseeing what challenges may arise next, you are prepared to address them--so smoothly that what you have done may go unnoticed. I appreciate your ability to preempt less-than-ideal choices before they become errors in need of repair.
Thank you for the positive difference you make on a daily basis. And today, especially, I thank God for the gift of your presence. With commitment and passion, you enhance the days, the work, the lives of many.
"We always give thanks to God for all of you and mention you in our prayers."--1 Thessalonians 1:2

Divine Ideas - Today's Daily Word
Flashes of inspiration and spiritual insight sometimes come to me without introduction or invitation. It's as if divine ideas are floating in my mind and suddenly one drops into my awareness at the strangest moment--while I'm in the shower or driving, where no pen and paper are within reach.
Divine ideas also come to me in prayer and meditation as my heart receives a gentle nudge, an inner knowing. No matter how they appear, divine ideas stir me into action through revelations of truth.
As I follow inner guidance, I begin to envision new and insightful ways to manage the circumstances of my life. Divine ideas encourage me to dream a new dream and to move beyond current understanding so that I realize that dream.
"Teach me your way, O Lord, and lead me on a level path."--Psalm 27:11

Giving - Today's Daily Word
I may have received help from friends, family, or even strangers at a time I needed assistance. I give thanks that they have been there for me and for others.
I, too, am open to giving to those who need help in everyday and unusual circumstances. Whether someone needs a ride to the doctor, a sitter for a child, or a meal at the end of a pay period, my inner guidance reveals what and how I am to give.
The wondrous, miraculous gift from this experience is that I cannot give without receiving in turn--much more than I have given. As I acknowledge and appreciate the dedication of others to be of service, I myself am encouraged to give. I offer what I have of my time, talents, and skills.
"Give liberally and be ungrudging when you do so, for on this account the Lord your God will bless you in all your work and in all that you undertake."--Deuteronomy 15:10

Let Go, Let God - Daily Word
If difficulties are mounting at home or at work, I may feel as if I'm struggling to keep my head above water. I then ask myself, Why am I trying to go it alone?
I know what to do as I read words of Scripture: "Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit says the Lord." It's time to let go and let God. It's time to stop struggling and let any burden be lifted from me.
This is a sweet and gentle reminder that I am never alone and that there is no need to struggle. God loves me and calls for me to turn within. The Spirit of God sustains and upholds me at all times.
I release all to God--all worry, all pain. Both physically and spiritually, I feel peace wash over me. I am comforted. The Spirit of God is here--within me and everywhere around me. I accept, I release, and I am free.
"Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, says the Lord of hosts."--Zechariah 4:6

Healing - Today's Daily Word
I may choose to speak today's affirmation in part, building on the truth so that it resonates within my soul.
I affirm: My body is a temple of the risen Christ. I have no difficulty accepting the perfection I am meant to express. I know that my body is the outward expression of inner holiness and wholeness.
I continue: I am strong and whole. Saying this doesn't make it so; I am claiming what is true for me as a temple of the risen Christ. I embrace the perfection that I am and can be through Christ in me.
I speak the truth, I embrace it, and I live it. My body is a temple of the risen Christ. I am strong and whole.
"That same hour they got up and returned to Jerusalem; and they found the eleven and their companions gathered together. They were saying, 'The Lord has risen indeed, and he has appeared to Simon!'"--Luke 24:33-34

Prepared - Today's Daily Word
Today I allow time for contemplation, a time of putting aside planning and acting on my plans and of giving my full attention to Spirit. This seeming inactivity is preparing me to pray and be alert to answered prayer, to set goals and fulfill them.
Going within to the source of all life, all wisdom, all good, I prepare for new experiences. Centered in Spirit, I gain knowledge and strength. Releasing all doubt about what I can accomplish, I know that with God as my guide and inspiration, I will achieve what is truly meaningful.
God has prepared my way, and I am ready to follow.
"In my Father's house there are many dwelling places. If it were not so, would I have told you that I go to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and will take you to myself, so that where I am, there you may be also."--John 14:2-3

Forgive - Today's Daily Word
My decisions are always a matter of choice, and I choose not to hold a grudge or harbor hard feelings toward anyone. This choice is for my own well-being as well as for the other person. I realize that any unforgiveness I would let into my heart would be a block to the flow of love.
With two simple but powerful words, I forgive, I break barriers, melt resistance, and open my heart to experience greater peace and joy. As I practice forgiveness, I claim my oneness with God and see the good in all. I view myself and others with compassion and the assurance that we are equally and unconditionally loved by God.
I forgive myself and I forgive others, which prepares the way for a new beginning--a resurrection of my heart that leaves me both peaceful and joyful.
"Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do."--Luke 23:34

Guidance - Today's Daily Word
Quiet moments of prayer attune me to the Christ Light within me. Here is where I make a conscious and focused connection with divine wisdom--unlimited understanding that guides me steadily on the right path in all circumstances.
And if at any time I feel uncertain because my life is not moving along in the way I had expected, I refocus my attention from what I think could be wrong to the good that is revealed by the light of Christ. As this inner light shines through my heart and mind, I discover new possibilities for good.
In an awareness of the Christ Light, I have clarity of mind and heart, of intention and decision. I walk in that light, confident and poised on a path of renewal and discovery.
"So they took branches of palm trees and went out to meet him, shouting, 'Hosanna!'"--John 12:13
