I give each day my best and accept the best from each day.
As much as I enjoy instant gratification, I know that sometimes it takes time to achieve the desired result. For instance, I learned to crawl before I walked, to walk before I ran. Therefore, I don't fight time; I recognize that it's on my side. All that needs to happen can happen quickly; it may also take time for the perfect result to appear. So I cooperate with God as the fulfillment of the perfect plan unfolds.
I am a part of the creative process that is taking place. Thinking and working in an atmosphere of expecting the best and giving it time to develop, I am my most creative, my most effective. I enjoy the journey toward my goals as much as reaching them. Life is unfolding daily, and I have the time to give each day my best and accept the best from it.
"The earth produces of itself, first the stalk, then the head, then the full grain in the head."--Mark 4:28

Harmony - Today's Daily Word
I live in harmony with all in my home, workplace, and community.
If anything seems to be going amiss, I know that there is an uplifting, supportive way I can bring harmony to the situation. Rather than making a checklist of what is wrong in my life or in my world, I make one of what is right.
Then I build on this harmonious outlook. I replace any tendency I may have to complain about a circumstance at home or at work with a resolve to encourage myself and those around me to be creative in finding a solution. Together we contribute our own ideas and skills toward creating a harmonious outcome.
Rather than taking actions that are self-serving, I act in ways that benefit everyone while supporting my personal goals. Word by word and act by act, I help create harmony in my home, workplace, and community.
"Live in harmony with one another."--Romans 12:16

Forgive - Today's Daily Word
Living from my inner Christ nature, I forgive myself and others.
With forgiveness, I offer myself and others a second chance to strengthen our relationships. I boldly affirm that we will have certain victory when we live from our inner, holy nature, the Christ of our beings.
This in no way excuses inconsiderate, unloving behavior by me or anyone else. With forgiveness, I release whatever may have caused me to feel stressful and invite myself and others to be the Christ in expression.
Forgiveness lifts the cloud of confusion from my thoughts. I have a clear understanding of the potential for good that each of us has and can express. I bless myself and others each time I am willing to forgive and to make changes in the way I relate to them. Such changes keep our relationships moving, strengthened by this positive direction.
"For whatever is born of God conquers the world. And this is the victory that conquers the world, our faith."--1 John 5:4

Grace - Today's Daily Word
I am God's grace in action!
Grace is an unearned blessing--a gift from God. Grace is also something I can pass on. Whenever I go above and beyond some good that I or others expect of me, I am God's grace in action.
Helping someone who did not expect any support, I put the principle of giving and receiving into action, and somewhere down the line, I will be blessed. Doing more than is required of me may generate immediate rewards or bless me at a later time.
Giving fully to life, I affirm God's grace, and I receive abundantly, perhaps in ways that I may not have considered. The grace of God blesses me with wholeness, prosperity, wisdom, peace, and the capacity to be God's grace in action.
"Let us therefore approach the throne of grace with boldness, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need."--Hebrews 4:16

New - Today's Daily Word
I welcome new outlooks and produce inspiring results.
I relax and am at peace as I contemplate this season of change. I picture summer's green leaves being transformed into ruby and amber autumn jewels. The smell of the earth grounds me. Breathing evenly and fully, I continue to relax.
As a new season begins, I feel new beginnings within me--the stirring of ideas, the welcoming of transition. I give myself permission to change, to grow, and to evolve. Immersed in an awareness of God's guiding presence, I have new outlooks that bring new results. Maintaining my expectation is as simple as taking in my next breath.
I am refreshed and ready to greet the season with grateful anticipation.
"See, the former things have come to pass, and new things I now declare; before they spring forth, I tell you of them."--Isaiah 42:9

Let Go, Let God - Today's Daily Word
I am enthusiastic about life and the good that awaits me today.
Rather than being fixated on why something is happening to me, I "gift" myself with the experience of going to God within. I am ready to receive what it is I need to know and do now. Having released any thought of physical or emotional pain from past events and circumstances, I clear the way for a healing transformation to begin.
Focusing on God's presence within, I quietly affirm: I let go and let God. Not being burdened with trying to "fix" my life, I realize a new clarity about what I can do to enhance my life. As I let go and let God, I feel immediately at peace with myself.
My receptivity to Spirit's guidance brings me greater peace, broader perspectives, and truer understanding. I am enthusiastic about life and the good that awaits me today.
"You show me the path of life. In your presence there is fullness of joy."--Psalm 16:11

Courage - Today's Daily Word
I accept the blessings of change.
If I'm "stuck in a rut," I don't have the traction needed to move forward in achieving my goals. However, I grow as I fully participate in life--overcoming challenges, gaining understanding, and enriching my relationships. Whether I courageously welcome new ideas, new technology, or new associations, opportunities for growth and insight emerge.
When I accept the changes in life as blessings, I enjoy moving out of my comfort zone and allow myself to think and act with greater wisdom and meaning. Releasing expectations of how things should be, I invite God to guide me with new inspiration. I am willing to reach out, initiate, and cooperate to create valuable outcomes.
These are times of discovery. They allow me to apply my God-given qualities toward growth and exploration.
"Be strong, and let your heart take courage."--Psalm 27:14

Faith - Today's Daily Word
I move forward with strength and courage.
Whenever I feel challenged by a person or a situation in my life, I turn to the presence of God within me. I draw from my source of love, strength, and courage.
During the times when I step away from the day's concerns and pray, I more fully center myself in God's presence and allow my faith to surface. I nurture it with love as I would a seedling. I nourish this faith with affirmations of courage and shine the light of truth on the path ahead. I am strengthened so that I move forward and act wisely.
My faith is not for me alone--it fills me with peace at those times when people I care about face difficult circumstances. Faith helps me lovingly release any anxious thoughts about them and place my trust in God to guide them in discovering their own inner strength.
"Keep alert, stand firm in your faith, be courageous, be strong. Let all that you do be done in love."--1 Corinthians 16:13-14

Belief -Today's Daily Word
Centered in God, I live a life of excellence.
What I believe is reflected in my life every day. I honor God and the gift of life by believing in myself and in the potential that lies within me. I am the healthy, prosperous, and wise person God created me to be.
My beliefs guide the choices I make. Knowing I've been given unique talents and skills, I use my gifts in wise and loving ways that serve myself and others. Knowing that I am a child of God, I set high standards for myself so that I live a life of excellence--mentally, physically, and spiritually.
Centered in God, I have purpose in being a unique expression of divine life in the world. I believe in myself and in the power and presence of God moving in and through me. With God, I am all that I am meant to be.
"May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit."--Romans 15:13

Encourage - Today's Daily Word
You are divine in nature and ready for great accomplishments.
Encouraging others, I hold a mirror up to them so that they see their inner divine nature. When I see the beauty of Spirit in another person, it's easy to encourage that person to reach beyond any perceived limitations and reach new heights of achievement.
I may be moved to call a friend just to let him know I am thinking of him. Or I feel drawn to say a word of assurance to a coworker to boost her confidence. In both cases, Spirit moves me to say the right thing at just the right time. Encouraging children is an awesome experience.
Receiving words of reinforcement, children are eager to try something new and experience the joy of success. Seeing children or anyone I love finding joy in new accomplishments is deeply gratifying to my soul.
"For with you is the fountain of life; in your light we see light."--Psalm 36:9

Comfort - Today's Word of the Day
The love of God comforts me.
The most natural, loving response of a parent is to comfort a child who is emotionally upset or in physical pain. Massaging a sore muscle or bandaging a cut helps relieve the physical discomfort. A kind word or a hug heals the emotional hurt and helps the distress fade into nothingness.
Whatever has transpired in my life, I turn to the love of God within me, and I am comforted. I also experience the love of God in expression through others as they comfort me. A friend listens compassionately, or a family member welcomes me with open arms. In each case, I experience the love of God expressed in my world.
Whenever I am called on to comfort someone, I do. My words and actions flow from the love of God within me to embrace them.
"As a mother comforts her child, so I will comfort you."--Isaiah 66:13

Serendipity - Today's Word of the Day
I am open and receptive to the miracle-working power of God.
Affirmative prayer is a powerful way of co creating my experiences in life. Affirming wholeness, I anticipate complete renewal of my mind, body, and soul. Affirming wisdom, I expect that divine ideas will flow to me and that I will recognize them and apply them in my life.
So many times, however, I am blessed in ways I never considered possible. For instance, at first I may have been reluctant to make a change in my life. When I did, I experienced greater blessings than I had ever before imagined were possible. I pray, knowing that God never limits me to only what I expect or consider valuable. As I give thanks for all blessings, I open the way for God to work miracles in my life.
"I was ready to be sought out by those who did not ask, to be found by those who did not seek me."--Isaiah 65:1
